From day one our STX has had a rattle behind the right hand controls on the steering wheel. Dealership insisted this was actually in the steering column and is normal. But I assure you when you drive the truck you can feel a little piece of plastic floating around behind the steering wheel controls. This should be an easy fix, but the dealer won't look at it again. All I need to do is take off the air bag and remove the single screw that holds the control module in place. I have removed the air bag from prior F150s via the two push pins on each side of the steering wheel base. However, with the 21 these pins are gone. Does anyone have any idea how to go about removing the steering wheel air bag module on these trucks? I have searched high and low online and cannot find anyone who has shown how to do this yet.
