Wow Bruce, what a great time you had! šŸ™‚
James, I've been waiting 40 years to get a V8, and I didn't get to buy a falcon GT-P before Ford stopped making cars here ?. I'm not sure wether the 8 in those was coyote or a pushrod, but as sleepers go, it's hard to outdo the turbo Barra in the falcon F6 Typhoon, two friends have them and I'd need a Whipple just to keep up 🤣

Applying for my associate membership to the club. Also, it looks like the converters did a fantastic job. It’s weird seeing the inside after conversion (even though I’ve been in a few RHD countries). Anywho… enjoy the upside down king ranch. ;)

You guys should be getting the S650 in Q1 2024, so you’ll have some updated Coyote toys coming with a few new tricks up their sleeves. Actually looking at google, the 2013 GTP had a Supercharged 5.0. What is interesting is the S650 5.0 makes more power than that forced induction variant with no boost. I mean that’s similar to here in the States, my N/A 5.0 makes more power than the old supercharged Lightning 5.4. Increased compression ratios and new fuel delivery methods have really nixxed the needs for any boost to get 500+ HP from a factory engine.

If I recollect correctly, I was told that they could fetch me an F150, do the necessary conversion, all for the cool sum of ~$125K ?
I've avoided the crass question, but I am intensely curious .... @SilverPigeon , care to share the ~ballpark~ drive-out price these days in AUD?

Really makes no difference, IMO it's worth it, the more I look the more I think it's just too cool!

I don't pretend to know for sure. But I'm guessing it's far less expensive if Ford officially sells the model in OZ, than having the conversion done for a single customer.
If I was a resident, I'd probably be happy with the official Raptor Ranger, or the forthcoming Ranger plug-in baby Powerboost? ?

They could have put the steering wheel on right side up. ?

Great looking conversation for driving on the wrong side of the road. ?

Thanks Robert, Rob and Bob (hmmm... did your mothers have the same hospital back when? šŸ¤”šŸ¤£)
@Buyer2021, north of AUD$200K, qualifies as a "dream truck" and a "keeper" 😬

@Grafx36510, I'm of the opinion that anyone who comments on the thread is automatically a club member. I'm afraid we don't have flyer miles or discounts, sorry šŸ«¤šŸ˜‰

What a deal for truly a keeper dream truck! (y) (y) (y)

( Lotsa folks easily 'bust' that here for IMO totally mundane, not at all unique trucks ;) )

Correct @Snakebitten, and Ford Australia have brought out F-150 XLT and Lariat in 145" and 157". Ecoboost only (I've wanted a V8 for 40 years🤤). They're optioned pretty near the top of each level, but it seems like Ford USA said "you can have these and be grateful"🤣. XLT from $106K plus on-road costs and Lariat $150K plus on-roads if I remember correctlyšŸ¤”. For that price, I was going not much extra really to get a unique build šŸ™‚

Now for Yankee dreamers, what does a Skyline GT-R cost there?
