Steering Wheel Delaminating 2021 King Ranch Powerboost

Has anyone else experienced this? I'm assuming I must be resting my hand there more than normal and maybe my ring is causing it? Either way I would like to think a 75K+ vehicle would have a steering wheel that would last longer than 40K miles before coming a part.....We already had to fix the seat from cracking and I'm guessing this is the same coating....UGH I bet my hands have been on the wheel for only 15K miles!

Wow that is horrible! Glad I went with platinum. Seems as if the dye on the leather was not cured properly.

It sounds as if you’re out of warranty, but if not, then raise some hell. I had the same issue with my 2016 and Ford replaced it.

Yes it is a king ranch with the brown interior. I'm guessing the brown leather dye is either faulty for the seats and steering wheel.
