I wish I had a column shifter and center console. Had that set up before and loved it.
I’ve had both the console shifter and column shifter with console. I like the extra storage of the column shifter. Can’t understand why ford doesn’t position the cup holders side to side instead of front to back (on the passenger side!).
It would be nice if ford at least offered the center console on the regular cab. This is a pretty cool setup if you’ll never have more than one passenger.

Miss my XLT reg cab but having an XL reg cab work truck is the next best thing (except no whipple lol). I was worried about changing anything but talked to my fleet manager to see if I’ll be given the option to buy at the end of the lease and she said that they will offer it at wholesale to the employee before turning it in so I spent 5 hrs yesterday working on replacing most of the interior (worst case if I leave or something I only need a few hrs to put it stock).
I’m going to find some seat covers at oreillys or something for now just to get the seats black. The only thing I haven’t done that I have most of the parts for is the digital cluster conversion.
Actually It’s funny that I pulled all this stuff out of the XLT before I traded it in So no money out this time around.
The big difference is the lower panel below the glow box is an airbag on the 23 where my 22 didn’t have that or at least I don’t remember having to work around it so didn’t have that rubber panel and it’s grey so have to source that or paint it black. I like the vinyl floors though as they have more padding and are easier to clean than the carpet.
The other things I have to work on is I installed the pro trailer and brake control as I have the wiring harness so future activation if possible.

@NavyChief Looking good! I swapped my entire gray interior over to black so it would have the stx interior look. I know a lot of people dye or wrap their headliners but I chose to go the oem route for everything so when the time comes if you're looking for an oem black headliner for a regular cab, here is the part number for it.
ML3Z-1551944-AE

It's expensive but it mounts right up out of the box. I found out Ford makes a black regular cab headliner for their xlt regular cabs with the baja tan interior. This is the vin # for a xlt with the baja tan interior and will help you get the part number for the b pillar trim which, again, can only come from this version of the f150
1FTMF1E56NKE49415

This part number ML3Z-1551944-AE shows up as bein Tan in Tasca website

@pelon222 if you use the ford parts website it will be for a baja tan interior but if you look at the description its black. Every single baja tan interior F150 comes with a black headliner.

Ok that makes sense thanks for clarifying it, I usually check Tasca first to get an idea on prices

Man, that interior swap came out amazing! Making me jealous after seeing my grey plastic! I have a question hopefully you can help with.. While looking on eBay and such for new Lariat and higher trim model front door panels, I noticed they mostly all come with the 4 window switch (front & rear windows for the crew cabs) but our regular cab trucks obviously only come with the smaller 2 window switch.. How did you find one with only a 2 window switch? Or were you able to somehow swap your factory XL window switch into the new panel?? Thanks in advance!

It swaps over. Just clips hold them in but you have to be careful at the handle area as it’s thin so you don’t want to just yank on it or you'll prolly break it.

Just pay attention to shipping cost when your checking out as some parts they charge ridiculously high shipping.

I'm ordering my 2024 single cab in the morning and am REALLY inspired by your build! I waited for the 2024 mainly because of the 12" screen and dash upgrade but will wait until I actually have the truck to decide on interior mods. Katzkin seat covers was my first thought but after seeing how factory yours is looking I'm going to rethink that.
I'm curious about your antenna upgrade..exactly what does it do? Better range?

Definitely better to get the 24 with all of the electronics done. I had to replace the factory ant as I had the XM delete so I picked up the XM module and bought a factory XM ant which in both the trucks I did the conversion on already had the wire ran to the dash. You just plug the new fakras under the headliner and you’re done. The other ant is the weboost reach cell phone booster Reach. I’ve been using them for years to help with signal strength as I drive to different areas with low signal. I just drilled a hole in the plastic cover of the factory ant and ran the wire through and sealed it. That way I didn’t have to run it through the door etc. I haven’t noticed a significant boost with 5G though but I just got it installed so time will tell.

I would get the katskins myself but that’s a mod I’m going to wait on until I own the truck as thats hard to reverse. I will say I wish I had the vinyl seats as they feel great. If your ordering and can get them in black (I’ve not looked) I would do that vs cloth.

Actually it's pretty much the same as long as you don't break clips or lose those little blue things that go over the plastic slides.

I have the following yet to complete the conversion

Dash Panels for cluster (I'm snatching a 24 XL VIN to see if the dash matches so I just have to buy the driver side)
Seat covers (I think the perforated leather for cooling upgrade)
A pillars and headliner, thanks @TylerNinetyTwo for that info and I found the B pillars it seems hc3z25278d12ae and hc3z25278d13ae maybe?
climate controls (want to upgrade to the digital knobs and heated/cooled buttons as I think I'll add that down the line once I own the truck)
Have you found anyone that has done the climate upgrade? I’m about to do the 8 to 12 radio upgrade and was thinking about adding the climate at the same time. I don’t care about dual zone, but I really like auto climate for myself. I just haven’t found a post that anyone has done it or even tried. I’m very good with forscan, I just don’t know if the XL trucks have whatever is needed to make auto temp work with just swapping the controls and programming.

I haven’t tried this yet as I’ve been preoccupied with my mustang upgrades but that was going to be one of the things I’ll end up trying at some point.
