I went the Ford Performance/Whipple 5x Stage 1. I don’t drag it, I just wanted a little more zip every now and then. I’m very satisfied with the power levels, I just need more traction ?

I guess a question for you is what do you plan on doing with you truck…
I may run it down the local 1/8th mile track occasionally, not hot lapping it or anything. Occasional blast on the street, no extended wot. Don't want to destroy the cat converters or anything else with abusive driving, but I will use the power here and there.

I installed a stage 2 on my 22 and it was great other than the throttle body whistle. This time I went with a stage 1r which has everything fueling but uses the stock throttle body.
you can still get all three kits in both gen5x or gen6 but at regular price the gen6 is only 500 more so I would lean that way.
I have not yet seen a stage 1 kit available with a gen 6 blower. So, do you have any 0-60 or dragstrip data on your truck, or any dyno results? I'm just trying to see what I can expect. Also, what rate were/are you in the Navy? Former ABF2 here, '91-'95.

I don’t have any numbers on the trucks. I just have the stock Whipple tune as it feels the best to me after having spent 1300 on a shit tune from a reputable tuner. Not really concerned with numbers just the feel of it and honestly at the out of the box level you cannot tell the difference between a stage 1R and 2 other than I don’t have the whistle.
If you catch a sale get the gen5x over the gen6 as I picked up both gen5 kits for 15% off.
MAC retired but spend some time on flight decks with the grape ape crew ?

Cool, I did a short stint TAD in ship's security as an ABF3. Was on USS Nassau, was in security for 1st 3 months of our '94-'95 med cruise. I honestly didn't like working security, I was a little 135 lb guy with no fighting skills, no weapon, and a radio that didn't reach from the deck berthing to the security office if I needed backup. Gambling on card games would happen down there and I would cruise my ass right on past like I didn't see it. Knew better than to try anything in that situation. Fortunately they let me go back to my division after 3 months, so back down into the pumproom I went! Had some good MA buddies on that ship though.

Back to the truck, this ought to be a real screamin idiot of a truck compared to what it looks like. Other than the stage 2 whipple, stone stock single exhaust rcsb 4x4 xl, lacking even the aluminum wheels and chrome bumpers. I see all these videos of whippled f150's, and most of them are 4 door and/or tarted up with some nice wheels and a lowering kit.

Stage 2, stage 1 has like a 103 to 105 limiter.
Buddy has one on his RCSB and cant even do 1/4 run and it falls flat
The FORD Performance Stage 1 setup retains the stock F150 speed limiter of 100mph, that's why they offer the 3yr36K warranty. You can buy the updated calibration file from Whipple that raises the speed limiter to 135 mph, but it voids the warranty. Pretty sure there will be cracked SW abilities soon for the 24's and you'll be able to do it with HP tuners or the like, if it isn't already-

Stage 1 should last a long time is a plus, 700 crank HP is nothing to sneeze at. I was contemplating but I might order a new Lariat 6.5’ SCrew. Maybe I will put the whipple on that one :ROFLMAO:

I'm trying to estimate what I can expect out of a '24 rcsb 4wd with a stage 2 setup and nothing else. Some of these crewcabs with big ass heavy aftermarket wheels and tires get down pretty well, and they're heavy pigs by comparison.

with good tires, you can expect 11's easily with a stage 2. There are numerous video's of F150 w/Whipples running deep into the 11's with stock bottoms. Add some more fuel/E85 and a smaller pulley, you can get into the 10's but with a stock transmission, eventually you will need a rebuild if you are launching it alot. Midnight Performance and a couple others can beef up the 10R80's to handle more power but EVERYTHING has it limits eventually!

11's will do nicely, for a while at least. If I want to go a lot quicker than that I need to get off my ass and get the datsun going.

A used 2023 TRX here just sold for $80,000. Don't ever see any of the Shelby's except on the road passing thru. A 4 Year old Hellcat challenger here are selling at $52,000.
