Does anyone know if the gen 14s use the same spotlight module as the previous gen? Is it in the same location and wired the same? I would like to do the "always hot" mod again, and also tap into them to activate the alley lights on my lightbar so I can free up a pair of upfitter switches. Thanks all.

Well I've since discovered this gen doesn't use a separate spotlight module anymore. I'm guessing they're controlled through the door control modules but don't have wiring guides to see.

No one else interested in this??

Yeah. Looks like its controlled by the door modules. Pin 12 sends the voltage from the module to the spotlight.

If the DDM / PDM is awake with the ignition off (BCM likely times it out in short order), the switch mode MAY work. If you're wanting anytime activation of the lamp, a discrete diode protected switch at each door may be required, persistent power found here at the DDM. (501a/b DDM = 652a/b PDM)
