Some generic F150 questions while purchasing from Granger

I don't tow right now but what happens if I wanted to rent an RV or trailer? Will driving be a problem without tow package? What does tow package give?

Lack of tow packages has delayed builds in recent months. The $800 you save on the build will shrink by half if you try to get a Trailer brake controller added to your truck at a dealer.

Its a no brainer to have it factory installed.

I bought my 23 PowerBoost from Granger in February. The price was fair, but my pre and post sales experience was pretty bad. The sales person didn’t know anything about the truck and had terrible follow-up.

I had an OTA update issue that required a dealer to fix. Granger service told me they couldn’t do anything to fix it and to call Ford. Ford pointed me to another dealer who got me updated. Ford also said all Central Iowa dealers are certified to fix OTA problems, including Granger. Emails to Granger management asking for help went unanswered. I also was supposed to get a heated steering wheel installed according to Ford and Granger said that’s up to Ford. The other dealer said they’d take care of it when it’s available. All the Google reviews are really good though. Makes me wonder if they’re fake reviews.

Thankfully I found one locally and got it home. Did not have the patience to wait for 3-16 months and a 17 hour drive from Iowa to NJ.

Right? I was really surprised how bad they were.

My experience was excellent. From ordering, to placing the deposit, to pick up, everything went great on the Granger end! 20 minutes from walking in to walking out was perfect (including having a trade). Now, the truck started out as a POS but all of that has been sorted - not Granger's fault.

My experience with Granger was excellent.

I also have Antimater Blue....like said already, looks really dark, almost black on cloudy days or at night. In direct sun, then you can see the blue and the sparkle. My last 4 vehicles were black, so this color was a good gateway color to maybe get other colors in the future.
