And as others said you could always find a set of take off wheels from previous years F150s and mount your winters onto those.
Yes, I will most likely buy a set of take off wheels... still looking for a decent set of 18"s and then will put on new snow tires for winter.

New to Ford and this is my first F150 (platinum powerboost). Coming from Ram 1500 (2019, Limited 5.7L). Do a lot of winter drives from nyc area to Adirondacks in NY. Always had swapped over to blizzaks on the ram as its stock tires were garbage. From the groups comments it seems like still a good idea to keep a separate set of rims and winter tires for the F150 too. Prob will go to smaller rim maybe 18 inch down from the factory 22’s. This sound nuts to anyone?

I'm definitely planning to get a separate set of wheel/tires for winter. My King Ranch came with 20" wheels, and I have confirmed that 18" wheels works fine for it (clears the calipers).
If the Platinum uses the same set of brakes, the 18" wheels should work for you as well.

For dedicated snow tires, go as narrow and tall as possible

you can’t use 17” with max tow
This is something I thought to be true as well. My truck is a Max Tow PB and I was underneath it yesterday and noticed that the spare is on a 17" rim. What gives? Can anyone confirm fitment of 17" wheels on a max tow?
