I was wondering if anyone else has come across this... I checked the search function ( and google ) and hadnt seen anything about it.

On the passenger side. The front A Arm bolt seems to be wearing through the frame? The hole the bolt goes in looks to be wearing. This is on a 2021 PB with approx 17k KM.

i hope the pic attached correctly....

I gotta admit that looks a bit alarming. Especially if that's 17k KM of just road use.

I believe the holes are actually slotted in that location for alignment. So the hole/slot looks normal at least. How's the other side look?

I don't ever plan to take one apart, but looking at mine that bushing shown off center of hole appears to be connected to my frame? But you see the rust showing? That means it's moving. Looking at mine I don't see bolts with adjusters on them

That is actually a slotted hole to assist in front end alignment caster, camber .

This is only happening on the one side... the other side looks like it would be a round hole. That is normal to have a slotted hole on the one side?

Both sides are slotted for sure. I just replace my factory struts yesterday with The Rough Country leveling struts. I marked around the nut washers with a marker to make sure I put them back in the correct position. Im not saying that yours couldn't have come loose on that one side but BOTH are slotted. Moog actually makes an alignment kit part K100070 that has an offset washer on the nut along with a locking plate that helps aid in locking bolt down in proper position. By chance have you or anyone out strut spacer or leveling kit on your truck?

Yours was definately bolted down on a different position at one time .You can see the washer pattern. normally if its really loose it would how scratching/scuffing back and forth from one side to the other

I gotta admit that I didn't know the oem upper control arm had alignment adjustment on the F150.
I thought only the lower control arm had the adjustable mounting bolt frame hole.

You learn something everyday around here. :)

it is the lower control arm that does the alignment. The upper a arms are in a fixed position

Thanks for clarifying. But why is there an elongated hole in the frame mount for the upper control arm?
I don't know that I remember seeing an uca with visible hole like the OP posted.

I immediately went out to look at mine and although I didn't take the wheel off so I could get a thorough look, mine doesn't look like his

I should wait until after at least my second cup of coffee before posting.

the rust around the frame looks like the washer was sitting there and now the washer and bolt have moved?
