Side cameras on with turn signal

Rats! First attempt is a failure. I get the Left Turn Signal Fault with the 4 pin Curt bike rack lights from the earlier post. I have a 4 pin tester coming so I will see if it is the trucks 4 pin connector that is the issue, but I doubt it.

Sadly none at all. I also tried the 12 pin to 4 pin adapter and got the same left fault.

Somewhere in my reading I saw someone mention the same thing and they spoke of adding a resister to the LED lights because the lights just did not pull enough power to make them work properly with the trailer connections. I do not know if this was correct, but it did make some sense.

I saved all the lights and I was thinking of cutting the LEDs and hooking up just a plain bulb light like a taillight bulb to see if the bulb power draw did make some difference.

I just have to find the time to fiddle with this and due to my industry, I do not believe I will get much time until January.

It couldn't just work.

Figured I'd check in to see if the IPMA has been OTA'd yet. I got the "Enhanced Navigation" update March 18. Fordpass says IPC 24.2.0

Was not enabled with the BC 1.4 update unfortunately. Still manual for now.
