My pumpkin survived!

This was 95% all done by my wife but I did the black lights for her . This might be the last year decorating for Halloween for us. The kids have become rude and even nasty over the years. One larger kid pushed my teenage daughter over last night, grabbed the candy, and ran. . Others bang on the door and instead of saying “trick or treat” and “thank you“ we get “give me candy” and no thank you from them. Sometimes they don't even have a costume or you get an adult with no costume saying my child is at home sick .

After we turn the lights off and its late and pitch black out they still come banging on the door and waving in the windows expecting us to answer the door and pass out candy which is usually gone by then. My wife spends hours decorating, I spend ~$80 on candy. We get people driving in from other towns but they speed up and down the neighborhood racing each other to get to as many houses as they can doing 35-45 in a neighborhood with a 25 mph speed limit. The police used to enforce the laws here but now they are nowhere to be seen anymore either.
