@Jmeo, yes it was back in the day. It didn't take long for FORD to take that site down for general users, fordfleetlive.com . One other comment I now remember that I didn’t mention, this truck came with the 2.4 kw invertor, not the 7.6 . I think the larger battery adds another 30 or 40 pounds to the truck weight.

My 24 KR is close to your specs, it does have the max tow axle. It has the FX4, so not an exact comparison. The payload rating is 1282 lbs. I am not at my truck right now, but if I remember correctly, the max tow rating is well above the numbers you gave for what you tow. The limiting factor for these luxury barges with the PB is the payload rating, it will always be quite a bit lower than the non PB, lower trim level trucks. These trucks will pull the weight well, but they are limited on the tongue weight because of the hamstrung payload.

I know this isn't quite the apples to apples comparison you were looking for, but this does provide another data point you can use to at least ballpark it.

You can get a Platinum and it will take off the sunroof and a few other things while probably getting around a 1350 payload rating. I know the KR is the goal but if max payload and luxury are the goal a Platinum is the best "go around" if you are wanting the PB.

I've found a few doing the search as you have and a comparable EB will get you 200ish more pounds if you can find one close to the same specs.

I did toy with that option, but to get the bells and whistles I'm after, like heads up display, the better speaker system, among other things, I have to step up to Platinum High, which forces the sunroof all to the tune of $10k more than the KR.

If I wanted the base Platinum I would not get the sun roof. The KR is a much better value for dollars overspent on a vehicle.

No, I get it. The KR is a great "value" if you can call it that but it comes with everything standard so you're stuck with the sunroof which adds the most weight of all the options.

I will also say, watching pricing, the base Platinums generally have more cash on the hood too. More of them are available too.

Oh, I agree with you. Luckily for me, I am not in a hurry, so waiting for a custom-ordered truck is a non-factor.

That said, it kills me that you can’t, at the very least, delete options, like the sunroof that I am not a fan of in the first place. I get not being able to add something willy-nilly, but not being able to say I will take a certain package, but can you leave out this or that is a conspiracy.

Oh-well, life goes on, I guess...

Sunroof is 69lbs. Quite a bit if you're after towing and don't want to deal with random water intrusion nor do you want the water dripping speaker.

I pull our Boy Scout troop trailer all the time. Just over 6k fully loaded with all the gear. The truck doesn't even notice it is there. Get about 21MPG normally around 17 pulling the trailer.
I have included my tow capacity according to Ford. I have a 22 Platinum PB and it says 10,733#'s.

I appreciate the reply, thank you.

I ended up ordering a 2025 F250 diesel and received it this past March. I could not be happier.
