Seatbelt Chimes

Good afternoon

I’ll preface this by saying I have tried to do this myself, including searches etc but it continues to haunt me. I can’t for the life of me get the seatbelt chimes to turn off. I’ve tried using the values from Livinitup’s spreadsheet. I’ve tried a couple other codes from other google searches, I’ve even disabled the chime via the text category in IPC and I’m still stumped.

Thoughts? Thank you.

I somehow turned off my drivers chime but no one else's. I think I did it when I was changing "Lincoln Fold Mirrors".
It doesn't really bother me by not having it so I haven't tried to change them back...

This is actually better than using forscan. It’s less changes you’re making to your as built data. The more you change in forscan the higher likelihood that something will start working odd. This doesn’t affect any other code. It’s baked into the cake from Ford.

I want to say doing it this way isn’t permanent and it will revert at some point but the owners manual doesn’t clarify this that I could find so maybe it does stick.

I've used the owner's manual method successfully several times. When I let the dog ride up front on hunting trips, I turn off the passenger seat chime. Can turn it back on later. Just be patient and methodical. Doesn't hurt to do a couple "practice" runs.

Strangely my seatbelt warning light won't turn off in step 2. Tried a few times now. I wonder if it's because I've got it disabled in Forscan? I am in Canada, the Nanny Capital of the world too so that might have something to do with it? That's probably a stretch.
