2025 F150 - Does anyone know how to disable the seat belt monitor ding, What's in the manual does not work, The red dash seat belt light never goes out, so you can not proceed to the next step of attaching the seat belt.

1. Prepare the vehicle: Ensure the parking brake is engaged, the transmission is in Park, the ignition is off, and both the driver and passenger seatbelts are unbuckled.
   
   
2. Turn on the ignition: Turn the ignition on, but do not start the engine.
   
   
3. Wait for the warning light: Wait for approximately one minute until the seat belt warning light turns off.
   
   
4. Additional delay: Wait an additional five seconds before proceeding to the next step.
   
   
5. Choose the seat: Determine which seating position (driver or passenger) you want to disable the alarm for.
   
   
6. Buckle and unbuckle: For the chosen seating position, buckle and unbuckle the seat belt three times at a moderate speed, ending with the seat belt unbuckled.
   
   
7. Observe the warning light: After the third buckle and unbuckle, the seat belt warning light should turn on.
   
   
8. Final buckle and unbuckle: Buckle and unbuckle the seat belt one more time. The seat belt warning light should flash to indicate the procedure was successful and the alarm is disabled for that position.

This is what’s happening on my vehicle as well. I waited 10 minutes and the light stays illuminated.

I am also a Robert B! I have a 2024 Ford F-150 STX and I have turned off the seat belt chime using ForScan. It still chimes at me about 3 times, but then it goes silent with the flashing icon though. It's not a big deal for me since I usually have my belt on, but the short 1/2 block drive from my mailbox to home is where it would get me. The chime would be going crazy before I reached my driveway.

WOW……airbag light ??? That’s the first I’ve heard of that. In my digital owners manual it states “seat belt light “. Which never goes out. I just went to the ford website site and checked a 2025 f150 manual there. It says
“wait a short period for the seat belt tone to stop”. It’s no wonder no one can figure this out easily. Mines done in forscan already so I’m not investigating further but geeez Ford, get your sh*t together.

Had Ford service connect to the OBD and disable the seat belt minder for both front seats. on my 2025 KR

Learn to use forscan, many things are easily configured. Ford started to incorporate some of our common feature disables into the screen starting in 24. Can't beat forscan though.
