Hey, I have been thinking of getting a bed mat to put on top of my spray-in liner. The only reason I am thinking of doing this is to stop cargo from sliding. My previous truck has a Reflex spray-in liner and it was wonderful, but that shop went out of business so I went with a Spray Tech. it is durable but hard so things tend to slide.

I was wondering if coating the bed floor with Herculiner might work. We painted the floor of an enclosed trailer with it and it has held up remarkably well. I just don’t know if it will adhere properly. Thoughts?

I put a bed rug over my line x and it’s been really nice.

A cheaper idea could be a horse stall mat from tractor supply. Basically a 1/2” 4x6 sheet of solid rubber. Those are heavy as crap and you’ll need to cut to fit around wheel wells, etc. but easily doable with a box cutter, a few blades and some elbow grease

+1 on the bed rug…. I know it sounds redundant, but I’ve done it for years, stuff stays put, drop something like the “corner of a toolbox” no harm either ?

As for the Herculiner, stick with the bed rug. Unless they changed their formula, the sun beats it up.

Some of the spray in places offer an upgraded “black diamond coating”. It keeps the surface looking new and is a UV protectant.

Hope this helps…

I have a Bed Rug in my truck and I can tell you the velcro strips will not stick to it. They told me I have to get a can of something from them to make it stick. I tried everything to get the velcro to stick and it will not.

I put one of these Husky liners on top of my Line-X. Grips like a champ and easily removable if you need to take it out. Very heavy duty. I have the bed divider from Ford, and it doesn’t interfere with it at all.

It is too expensive right now (I paid $112 back in April), but the price fluctuates, so keep checking.

I tried the rough country mat but I did not like it. The fit was poor, not what I was expecting. It also weighs a far bit and I cannot slide items from the tailgate into the bed due to the thickness of the mat. Just not for me.
