I was rear ended a while ago. I looked around at different bumper options, I ended up finding a body that that was a Road Armor dealer close to me.

Road Armor had just started to take orders for the 24+ versions. So I was able to get in on the first batch. And they sent me the shackles too for being of the first orders.

Overall the fit and finish are really good. The shop didn’t have any issues with the install.

I did notice about 1” of drop on the rear from it. I did have 1” lift in the back so now with my 2.4” 6112 front level the rear sits 1” higher.

The light pods are not included. I have to do those myself.

Is it so heavy as to take away from your capacity? Seems if it lowered your tail by 1" I would guess it weighs a few hundred lbs?

A few hundred pounds lol?
I'm curious about this too - I didn't see any weight specs on their site but a couple hundred pounds or more sounds right for a proper steel bumper.
OP @bjl95mustang, it looks good. Reckon you could smack it with a hammer and not put a dent in it? Not super hard, mind you. Just wonder how 👌 thicc 👌 that steel is? (please don't test this because I asked).

It's not thick steel. If I had to guess it might be 120 pounds. "A few hundred pounds" implies over 300. One like isn't some real heavy duty bumper.

Oh it's there in his link, whoops. 7 gauge steel. 0.1793 inches / 4.554 mm, or 3/16" according to which site is answering. Seems thick enough to be a stout bumper.

So how did it drop the rear of the truck by that much if it isn't much heavier than stock?

I like it, though!

I need to re measure it. I might have looked at the old measurement before I added the 1” blocks.

From what I saw the bumper weighs about 200lb.

So I found my notes. I only lost 1/4” on the back.

Today I installed some 2x3 lights and wired them into the reverse lights.

A 1/4" drop sounds reasonable. Rear total spring rate is about 500 lb/in, so your steel bumper weighs about 125 lbs more than the old bumper.
