I wanted to do a in-depth review of these because I couldn't find one when I was looking so here.

Current setup.

Eibach PRO 2 R
Cooper discover road + trail AT 275 / 60 / 20
Icon UCA

So I have only had this set up for about 36 hours but in that time I have done about 300 miles of driving on different terrains.

I want to start this off by explaining what people mean by more firm but smoother than stock. I did not get how this is possible but it is true....Let me explain. When going around corners there is no longer an exaggerated roll of the truck to one side. It still leans a little but not near as much. This gives the truck a sporty and responsive feel. So it is stiffer in the sense that it prevents excessive body roll and gives you more control when cornering. When going over bumps even at slow speeds it absorbs it and keeps going. What I mean by that is the moment you hit the bump and the suspension rebounds there is no more movement of the vehicle. Whereas stock suspension hits the bump and bounces for a couple of seconds after. Here you can see the Eibach suspension is firmer but not in the sense of throwing you around, instead it absorbs the impact and does not keep bouncing. When accelerating with the OEM suspension the truck would squat a little but now with the Eibach system, it just goes. When slamming on the brakes the truck still pitches forward but not near what it does with the OEM suspension. I hope this clears up how people can say it is firmer but smoother at the same time. If I was explaining this to someone for the first time I would say that the ride is more firm but also much better at absorbing bumps and preventing excessive bouncing.

Road impressions:
I like how it handles on the road. It took out all of the excessive body roll, squat when accelerating, nose dive when braking, and increased responsiveness of the steering wheel. I was worried about how it would feel during city driving at 40mph and less but it still is very smooth. On the interstate, it performs great as expected.

Off-road :
I bought this suspension to get rid of the super soft ride OEM had and to improve the ride when going down dirt roads that aren't maintained. Today I wanted to test the suspension out on some light off-road stuff. I knew it was going to rain but didn't think much of it. I went down to a lake by my house that has the roughest terrain that I would take my truck on which is dirt roads that aren't maintained. Well, let's just say I went down a road that I had not been on. The road slowly turned into a trail that was meant for jeeps and UTVs. As I am driving it keeps getting worse and to make things even better it starts raining at flash flood levels. I am also in a very mountainous area so the rain is just flowing down the trail coming at me washing everything out while filling up every single mud hole. The trail had big rocks ranging from coffee mugs to the size of your head, drop-offs that were 1-1.5 foot high, steep inclines/declines, and the roll angle between 10 and a puckering 25 degrees. There were mud holes that I had to accelerate before hitting to get through and of course, the trail leading up to the holes had drop-offs, big rocks, roots etc. I was on this trail for 1.5 hours and I was very impressed. It did not matter if I was crawling, going 10mph, or accelerating over rocks/roots/drops off before the mud holes it rode great. Also, I have to give props to off-road mode to Ford. It saved my butt today in a mud hole. One of the holes had a softer mud bottom and I lost my speed going into it. I eventually came almost a stop and began to spin. I was moving at 1 mph but some how the truck kept me from getting buried and kept me moving. I for sure thought I was going to get stuck but it inched its way out. While the suspension and the truck performed fantastic I know ill never take my truck down anything like that ever again haha.

Ill keep updating the post as time goes on.

I really think the Eibach is the best mix of ride quality and handling. Everything on these pickups is a compromise and for what I use my powerboost to do, I feel that it is nearly a jack of all trades now. Comfy highway cruiser, but yet it can still bomb down a forest service road without the back end hopping around on washboard gravel. If you have the clearance, you will notice an increase in ride quality if you drop the coilovers.

There are quite a few reviews on here. Here is where I posted my initial thoughts.

Great explanation of the upgrade. "planted" is the best way I can describe what quality monotube shocks can do.

This is what we love to see and hear. So glad you like the set up. And it’s nice when customers understand better when we say that firm isn’t a bad thing. Truck looks awesome and thank you for the support!

Do you still have a bit of rake?
Looks like you might have 1/2 to 3/4 inch?

We will let the OP speak for themselves, but from what we know and have tested yes, you will still have some rake. In order to fully sit level you have to go with a kit that is higher then the 3" up front. Most trucks come with about 3 3/4" of rake. It all depends on what trim and packages you have. This is one of the closest kits that you can get without spending a ton of money and still remain a fully bolt on kit that gets you close to fully level.

If you want to go further, you have to either go with a 4" lift kit or go with a kit that swaps out the spindles such as the Icon stage series kits. These kits are still fully bolt on and can get you up to 4.5" of front lift, but you then are getting into more costly kits. But if you need help on buying the right kit, hit us up when youre ready to get one! We'd be happy to help get the right set up for you.

I haven't had anything to compare the Eibach to except the stocks and they are a head and shoulder above them. Biggest issue I had with the stocks was how I felt I was in a boat at a turn.

+1 to everything OP said. I recommend the Pro 2R to everyone who asks what level kit to get.

Anyone have these in northern climates where they spread salt like holiday cheer? How do they hold up?

Just spray some amsoil hd metal protector on them and you will never have a problem, this is what I did to my old bilsteins long ago and they always looked new and I’m in the northeast.

you’re not wrong because it’s the general consensus. fox is too soft and bilstein is too hard.
I’ve never owned a Fox equipped pickup, but I’ve driven and ridden in several. I’ve owned two pickups with Bilstein 5100 setups with no complaints besides they were firm…..but I did set them both on the top perch. I would like to try a 5100 on the middle or bottom perch to see how that rides compared to my Eibach setup. I’m getting ready to drop my coilovers another couple turns since I’ve gone down to 33’s. I’m looking forward to seeing the difference in ride quality (if any).
