Put the Eibach Pro front and rear shocks on my new 2024 and man this is how these trucks should come from the factory. I didn’t raise the front but about 1.5 “ which took a lot of turns down to get there, I was at 2.5” of lift after 8 turns down before install, but the ride is fantastic. It corners better it absorbs bumps amazingly and the rear end doesn’t walk around anymore on broken pavement or railroad tracks. Very happy with the results, no more nose diving when braking and body rolling all over the place. If your on the fence do it, these are so much better than the Bilsteins I had on my last F150. Did the install on jacks in my garage and took about 2 hours, very nice having the preassembled coilover vs messing with spring compressors. The rear was a pain in the ass until I devised a plan, impressing them is no joke and on the ground it was tough.

With the PB, I thought I'd need more preload up front but ultimately found 1 1/2" down from max to be perfect. Initial install almost looked nose high! I did it in small stages over a weeks time. The biggest difference was felt between the 1 1/4" to 1 1/2" adjustment. Much smoother, still as firm and controlled and no body roll in turns. Its not level now but better than stock and I'm more interested in the ride, not the look.

I ventured down the Eibach Stage 2 road this last weekend with front and rear kits. Looking for about an inch all around.

Stock: (taken in a parking lot)

Front Left: 37 7/8
Front Right: 38
Rear Left: 40 3/8
Rear Right: 40 5/8

After install: (all measurements are preliminary as I need to drive it more and get on a flatter surface)

Front Left: 39 1/4
Front Right: 39 1/4
Rear Left: 41 1/2
Rear Right: 42 5/8 (my garage floor is tapered to a floor drain so this measurement needs to be taken from a parking lot)

It's been a few weeks and wanted to provide and update on my lift height. I ended up leaving the drivers side adjusted 7 turns from max height and the passenger side is 10 turns from max height. With 5/8 tank of fuel the front is measuring 39 3/16 on both sides of the truck. Currently have about 1 3/8 inches of rake.

Had the truck aligned last week and am loving this set up. My only regret is not installing sooner, had these since November.

What’s interesting with these Eibachs is the threads showing where you set the tension is quite variable. My drivers side has a lot more thread exposed than the passenger even though the height is near identical. I bet theirs a 1/4 “ more threads showing on my drivers side shock.

End result is beautiful! The non PB get so much more lift out these adjustable coilovers, I’m jealous lol. I did the Eibach Pro Truck 2.0 a few weeks back on my 22’ PB FX4 with max tow and love everything about them. The ride is wonderful even at max height. I only got 2” of lift up front which still leaves me with a 1.25” rake. While I’d like that last inch, I know I’d have to swap uca to keep everything else happy and in manageable spec so living with some rake for now.

I'm curious. With the adjustment on the bottom of the spring does the ride get softer when it's "turned down"? I would like 1-1.5" of hight. But would that not be as stiff as the 2.5" setting?

Yes, it does soften it a little. You are basically unloading the spring.

The ride is definitely stiffer with the collar cranked up. I only adjusted mine to about 1.25” of lift in the front and the ride is awesome, I also added RAS to the rear. I didn’t want a leveled truck anyway, I tow stuff and don’t want to be ass dragging.

2018 F150 Platinum - RWD, 3.5 Ecoboost, 2026 Platinum 4X4 PB on order
I know this is an old thread, but I'm figuring what all I want to do with my 2026 Power Boost when it gets here. I currently have Bilstein 5100s on all 4 corners of my 2018 RWD Ecoboost.

My 2026 on order is a 4X4 Power Boost and I'm thinking of going with the Eibach Stage 2 or Stage 2R. Is there much of a ride difference between these 2? This is a daily driver truck, 90% city/highway.

Thanks

I previously had a 17 with the 5100s installed. The 5100s were a tad stiffer compared to the Eibachs, the Eibachs feel better all around to me. I've had them on my 24 for 7 months now and no regrets. Truck rides perfect around town and on the highway, Truck has never been off road. If your considering them just do it..... You will not be disappointed. Tons of positive reviews on here you can read.

The stage 2 rear shocks are still a great upgrade over stock. The stock shocks in the rear would bounce over bumps making the truck feel unpredictable at times. The Eibachs eliminated this while giving a more compliant ride. I have no experience with the 2R reservoired shocks but on pavement I bet it would be hard to tell the difference. In off road situations I bet the 2R shocks would be superior.

I can’t speak for the extra weight of the powerboost but on non powerboost F150 I’d take the Eibach every day over the bilstein after running both.

Just wanted to chime in real quick to hopefully help some members out!

So for the PB models, we always recommend the Eibach over Bilstein for one simple reason; the shock design. The Bilsteins are a 2.5 (technically 2.6") shock body. So these are truly designed to be a higher performing shock for those that want to have better performance off roading. So if you are constantly hitting the trails, or going over rough terrain (aka downtown city streets with potholes galore), then the 6112s stand out better for that.

Eibach is a 2.0 shock body so that allows them to give a "smoother" day to day ride which most of the PB owners enjoy for their day to day driving.

We did a full write up comparing our most popular kits for the F150s so this article may help answer some of these questions! But please reach out anytime if you still need further assistance.
