Reverse Brake Assist Not Available

I’ve been getting this error constantly now. Driving me nuts. Did some searches in here and didn’t come across much. What can cause this? Manual is worthless.

I’ve had this issue and the dealer needs to reset the module or something similar. It took them a few hours but it’s pretty common.

Is there stuff next to your truck when you start it?

It seems that mine will do that sometimes when I back out and have been closer to the wall. But it might just be random as well. I haven't noticed it in awhile.

If I throw the truck into reverse as I'm closing the drivers door, I will get the error every time.
