I just bought a 21 Lariat with 24k miles. I could have sworn the camera button worked on my test drive. I picked the truck up a few days later and while driving home the unit rebooted. Now the button doesnt work. Please check my VIN to see if I have an update coming.

The truck is on Sync 23159 which is only one version behind the latest version, so that should work. No recent OTA history and modules pending updates are below. If you have FORScan, you can try activating that way.

Yes, but one of the things holding you up is that you are not showing any APIM, GWM or TCU updates pending even though you are not on the latest Sync/APIM software. This is an issue affecting many vehicles on Sync 23159. It is unclear if this is on purpose from Ford or if this is an error on their side. That update not showing me be causing a bottleneck for your OTA's. Unfortunately, there is nothing you can do about it. With FDRS, Jesse MAY be able to help, but you would have to have FDRS and even then, it is on a case-by-case basis.

OTA dashboard shows GWM update 24-PU0223-VI-RBS2 has failed 3 times due to a manifest mismatch in the update packet. The issue is on Ford's side; nothing you are doing wrong. MyView getting reset is a common issue with no fix yet. Happens to many including myself.

I think I have receive the 630 YRT update about 20 times . I think the update went through back in March but now I seems stuck with the phantom update syndrome. What can I do to budge it on ?

If it's a phantom update, it's already installed. It's not installing again.

I do believe that the older trucks are not going to get many, if any, more updates. As these trucks age Ford will probably devote their energies to just developing an OTA program that is reliable for new trucks. Why bother with trucks that are starting to hit used car lots? And many have never been updated.

Blue Cruise works well enough. Only need to use it when "carting" my grandson throughout the Northeast to play soccer and going to Florida in the winter.

Like most owners I get random alerts that come and go. At least my truck runs each day without any problems, that I know of. Haven't seen any CEL's. and have a Ford extended warranty. Haven't seen any reason to get a new truck.

I am at the point that I don't expect any OTA's. I don't see anything to be gained from using FDRS.

Pending updates are below. Your truck is on Sync 23159, has not been sent any updates in a while and is not showing the next GWM module update it needs to progress through the OTA process. You are not alone in this boat. it is unclear if Ford is doing this on purpose or if this is a glitch in the matrix. With FDRS, Jesse may be able to help, but without it, not much can be done but wait for Ford to release it.

Your list is below. Once you do the updates, message me and I'll tell you what you need to do. You won't be able to update the BCM due to an issue where FDRS will ask you for an NFTSA password.....just FYI.

The truck is not reporting any codes that give a clue to what is causing that. The dealer may have to plug in and run some pin-point tests to see what's going on.
