I don't have access to FDRS now, but PTS is only showing a BCM update. More importantly, your modem is showing that it is unauthorized and offline. I assume you have issues with your connected features? I cannot see any codes since your truck is not talking to the mothership, but your modem is not working for some reason.

OTA history is blank, so nothing has been sent for a while, but you are also not showing many updates pending.

Yea, nothing odd about this. FDRS supersedes the OTA process, so if you fully updated with FDRS 3 months ago, there is very little left for the OTA process to do. It is perfectly normal.

rugedraw, thanks for the info about my trucks modem, could you please check it again, I deleted the fordpass app and reinstalled and I now show my connected services are up and running, would you please check to see if the modem shows active again?

I have seen a pending update message pop up three times now but I can not run it and no updates have occurred. If someone has a couple of minutes to run my number that would be awesome.

Seems to be a phantom update message. PTS shows no recent OTA activity in your truck.

After speaking to the resident guru, it won't hurt to let them replace the GWM, but we don't think it is necessary. The GWM is failing repeatedly with the USB process. When they try to update it with FDRS and FDRS asks them if the module updated successfully, they have the option of selecting no. if they do this, FDRS will ask them if they want to try to update it with the CAN process instead of the USB method. I doubt they will listen to you if you tell them, though.

Hey, I know this was from a while ago. But I got the truck back last week after they replaced the gateway module. That got me up to 22087 (still not what it’s supposed to be on) and they said it also got a TCU update preformed. Planning on taking it to another dealership but they have a help ticket out on it waiting on Ford to help.

Yea, I see the replaced the GWM and then updated the APIM (which is what got you the higher Sync) and then the TCU, as well. They tried updating the new GWW several times, and that failed every time, too. Not sure what's going on there.

I went back to my convo with Jesse about this and this is what he said:

" Its hard to know if the USB isnt kicking off or they arent doing it right. If they dont know what they are doing they will have the same issue again with the new gateway."

As per usual, he was right. New GWM and they still can't update it.
