I am not convinced that disabling WiFi has any affect whatsoever with OTA updates.

It means the sync 4 can not receive updates from ford directly and must rely on the dealership to install the update
I don't think WiFi inhibits OTA. OTA updates are delivered through the LTE connection between the truck and the Motorcraft Cloud.

I think the only way to inhibit that completely, is to disable the TCM module?

Can anyone who have FDRS license check for APIM update version and if possible send me the update file to update it myself with usb.

VIN: 1FTEX1C57MFA34759

P.S: My F150 is GCC version so the dealership have the OTA updates locked by disabling wifi.
Your truck is on Sync 20262. The USB update you are looking for cannot be obtained via traditional FDRS processes. Your truck has never recorded a successful OTA since it was build. Your dealer needs to perform TSB 22-2404 to get your APIM out of it's current state so you can start getting OTA's.

There are very few people who can get you the files you need to try to update your APIM out of its current status, but that method has had very little success lately. You are most likely better off having your dealer try to fix it. They will most likely replace your APIM as that is the path of least resistance.

My region doesn’t have LTE connection with Motorcraft Cloud (Middle east) so i have to rely on wifi to be enabled. Hopefully i can convince the stubborn technicians at the dealership to install an APIM version with the wifi enabled or else i’m at their mercy for every update.

Ahhh.
I was unaware of you being in the Middle East. Nor am I educated in the method(s) Ford uses to support their OTA features in countries other than Canada/USA.

I'm surprised if OTA would even be supported in most countries. FDRS is basically the same method that Ford, and most manufacturers, has always used to "update" software. (direct connection via OBD)

Interestingly enough, his truck is showing a GWM OTA attempt back on January 5th. It failed due to a server/cloud issue.

Can you please check VIN# 1FTFW1E89MFA78177 ? Last OTA I received was 4.2.4 on 5/2. Just want to make sure I do not have any OTA failures.

Many thanks!

Your truck went from 2.1.1 to 4.2.1? It seems like it skipped over a bunch of updates. Do you have full-screen carplay/android auto?

Yes, I have full screen. My dealer updated the truck. Then, I received 3 OTAs - 4/26, 4/27, and the last 4.2.4 on 5/2. Just wanting to make sure 4.3.x is not erroring out.

Ah, ok. No, your truck is fine. The 4.3.x updates are rolling out very slowly. I am still waiting on mine, too.

4.3.2 is still in your queue pending installation. Your truck will need to be inhibited for 10 minutes or so while it installs. With that said, your truck is recording low battery voltage DTC's, so after you charge it up, go to your touchscreen and check for updates. It should give you the option to install it.
Thanks, after battery fully charged, plus changed Wi-Fi SSID to benefit from closer Access Point, truck updated to 4.3.2 this morning - will look to borrow cable and get 2 day FDRS subscription

Can you check Vin 1FTEW1C8XMKD38057. My truck shows the latest update @ 4.2.4. However, I do not have Bed Camera in Motion. How would I get this corrected? I believe I am well beyond when this feature came out.
