I don't know. I would PM Jesse with your VIN in case he didn't see this and quote me so he knows where to look. I have checked many trucks for people, but yours is not a black and white case where I can point you in the right direction.

I started a conversation with him (I'm guessing that's this board's PM? I'm new here). But I sincerely thank you for the information you've provided thus far and pointing me to someone that can hopefully help figure out what's going on. I really, REALLY love this truck and I want to fix whatever the problem is. Like a four door 4wd mustang.

I don't have FDRS, but you did get 3.5.3, I don't see 3.5.4 in your history, you then got 4.2.1 and 4.2.2 has failed twice with two different errors.

The first time it was sent on 5/2 and it failed on 5/3. Error code reads:

As far as OTA's go, you are updated through 4.2.4.

You just got 3.5.2 on 5/9. It was sent to you a total of three times before it went through and installed.

The update that gives you full-screen capability is 3.5.3 which is the next one you are due. There is no systematic way to how Ford sends out updates, so there is no way to answer your question. Be advised: That particular update has a high failure rate.

those files are the main starting point for sync update. the 676 file is the vip which updates the vip chip in the apim and the 682 is the main cip is the main os for the apim

Planning on ordering a 2-day FDRS this weekend and finishing up my updates. Since my last updates were done at the dealer I have no Power-up version number displayed under Update Details as a reference, but I am now at SYNC 23031_PRODUCT, Rev 713. If I'm reading the Power-Up info chart correctly that should put me up to at least 4.2.2.

Now that it's been back for about a week and able to communicate with the mother-ship, can someone take a look and let me know how what's left to update so I can plan accordingly before I start my license? Once again based on the Power-Up info chart it looks like it could be APIM, GWM, TCU, HVAC & IPC?

Since you are already on 23031 you have nothing useful to gain by doing updates on FDRS. It's your money, but I'd wait for the updates to come in OTA. Remember that not all the updates apply to 2021 trucks like ours.

Can you tell me how my OTA queue looks? I have had a grand total of 2 successful OTA updates since I bought the truck new in March of '21, so I'm not exactly holding my breath for that option.
