Request VIN Lookup Thread

Can someone look on FDRS, and let me know what modules need updating. This is my son's 2022 truck. His sync is up to date.

After months of struggling with the dealership and Ford customer service, he responded to my call for help on this forum and not only did he get my husband’s truck completely updated and the BlueCruise working, he made it way cooler with some extra options that we did not even know existed. Endlessly thankful! astrand1 for President!!!

I have been away form the forum for a while.

Our battery still drains so I plan to pick up a H8 at Costco.

Our option for auto-updates is grayed out (cant turn on).

Our truck is stuck on Sync Version 20301. It has been suggested that we have dealer do a manual update, or replace, the APIM.

Wondering if us GR Michigan folk can band together?

3.5.3 was sent to your truck for the third time on 5/8. It is stuck trying to download files and unfortunately, it is looking like it is going to fail again.

I have never seen that update fail due to SOC. The problem is on Ford's side. It struggles to download the last file(s) it needs from the servers. This has happened to countless trucks with that particular update.

Sounds good. I had the low battery issue when it was the big blue cruise download/update. Figured that was the same. Thanks for looking into it.

Definitely not the same animal. Putting the charger on it would be nothing but a placebo in this case.

After several failed attempts, it seems they got your APIM to update. You are now on Sync 22293 and have full-screen phone capability.
