You seem to know more about this stuff than me. Lol

Interesting. I wonder if that's a link to the software update files on the Ford mothership? Goes way beyond my scope of knowledge, but I know there is a way to get the files for this particular update onto a USB drive to self install.

Anyway, yes I've seen a flurry of old and new updates going out lately. Definitely a good sign.

its quite possible to download the files from ford website directly. but you need a signed .der file to run the update specific to vin

Can someone help me out with showing any updates for my VIN? I have a 2021 Job 2 truck that had blue cruise when it was delivered but only got up to 3.5.2, and I am noticing most others have bumped up from there.

A lot more pending in FDRS than I expected.

Most of those can only be done with FDRS. Most "fully updated" trucks via OTA will show all but maybe 4 or 5 of those.

Should I be pinging my dealer about updating these?

You can try, but most of them they won't do unless there is a TSB or recall associated with it. Of the top of my head, I believe you may be able to get PCM (and ABS/SOBDMC as they're all done together), BCM, APIM, GSM, & WACM as I think there are various TSBs related to updating these modules. It will still be tough to get them to do those even.

Most won’t do it even if there is a TSB associated with it unless you can establish you have the condition/malfunction described in the TSB. Only campaigns and recalls will be done just by asking.

not showing any OTA activity in last 60 days. FRDS has a few and your apim is on old version 21136

Thanks for checking for me! So is there something I need to do or have my dealer do to get updates? Do I have a problem that some things are not up to date or have the old version?

While your Sync version is supposed to be past the point where these trucks get stuck not getting updates, there are a few things I see after poking around that I don't like very much. Your truck has never recorded an OTA and the software it has on it is the same one is was built with from the factory. I see a dealer on 3/9/22 performed an APIM reset and an APIM config operation. Based on my limited knowledge, an module config is performed when a module is replaced, but there are no notes on your truck indicating the APIM was replaced. Typically, after a module config operation is done, you must also run a PMI procedure which I don't see they did. I am not sure if that left your APIM in an bad state or not. There is no APIM update on the list provided for your truck, but there is a GWM that once done, it may cause the APIM update to pop up on that list to get you to the next Sync version.

In your case, I think you do have a case to get your dealer to perform module updates if you word your problem correctly. If I were you, I would call my dealer and tell them you need an appt to have your truck looked at because it has never received an OTA update. This is going to get them to look at your APIM and try to repair it. They can't update it because there is no update on FDRS for it now and there won't be an update unless the update the GWM first. Unless your truck lands in the hands of a tech who is well versed with the OTA process/issues on these trucks, they may not get very far. However, I think you do have a case to get them to at least try.

Thanks for the feedback.
What is the GWM?
I did call the Ford OTA number and he said there were no updates for my truck and it looked like everything was current, but I know it isn't. Seems like dealers and Ford can't tell you what is going on if your truck says "You are up to date" even though it isn't.
On 3/9/23 the dealer fixed an exhaust issue that there was a TSB for. Some of the Ford Raptor's exhaust made a clicking sound on start up and Ford finally acknowledged there was an issue with the valves that changed the sound of the exhaust. I also asked them about my transmission getting stuck in 1st gear a few times. Because of the exhaust fix, they said they had to do a reset or update.
At the time I had it in there, I told them I have never received any updates OTA. A couple times and even on 3/9 that had to do an update to fix my reverse sensors that were going off constantly. They never acknowledged any issues with me not receiving OTA's.
Since my last visit, I have one dead battery problem about a week ago. When I jumpstarted the truck, my dash went crazy with alerts and check engine light came on and my shock and steering settings were not working. Went to dealer and they checked the battery and it tested out ok. Yesterday my truck would not start with the remote and I was afraid it could be another dead battery. Fortunately it started, but I noticed my dash settings had all changed and my Emergency Brake was on, which I did not set. Something happened but not sure what. Maybe this has to do with the resets they did on 3/9/23. I do have an appointment for them to check it out to see if they can see anything that may have caused my dead battery. I don't have a lot of confidence in my dealer since they always act clueless when I bring up issues that are well documented on here and the Raptor Forum.

GWM is your gateway module.

There is definitely something wrong with your truck. When I check your DTC's, there is a message that reads:

This Vehicle has a higher than normal number of Vehicle Health Uploads or a very high DTC Count for one or more days, To accommodate this larger amount of data, the VHA/DTCs details can only be viewed for one day at a time.

VHA/DTC detail information can be viewed by selecting a date on the 60- Day Calendar View or by selecting the "View Data" icon

It is throwing multiple low voltage battery codes from various modules every time you drive it along with a bunch of other codes. The list of codes your truck records daily is so long, I can't even fit one days worth of codes in a screenshot. It is reporting losing communication with your APIM, ECU and PCM daily. I am not a technician, but in your case, it is very easy to see something is not right with your truck.

rugdraw is correct, there are a ton of DTCs every day for your truck and many related to voltage. Might start by checking your battery and toss a charger on it for a few nights then check back. I will be happy to look again to see if that helped at all

Would anyone be kind enough to look my VIN up please. Ford finally replaced the APIM and hoping that everything as far as updates go aren't so far behind that I'll never get updated.
