You were sent 3.5.3 on 1/24. It failed to install, but you were sent an OTA recently.

Is there anything I can do to get it installed, or should I continue with my plan to update using FDRS?

There is nothing that you can do to have an OTA sent to your truck. I would just wait it out. I wouldn't spend $650 to get full screen capability, but that's entirely up to you.

Anyone mind showing me a list of current updates for my VIN? I last updated last year to get Blue Cruise working, but after that, it's only been OTA updates. Thanks for any help!

You got 3.5.3, 3.5.4 and two of the 22-PU10xx updates all between January and February. As far as OTA's go, you are up to date.

Thanks. I have access to Motorcraftservice.com and can view the current OTA dashboard for my VIN. However, I cannot see FDRS updates. Last time I paid the $50 to get a two-day license, there were no updates. However, there are now a couple of applicable TSBs for my 2021 PowerBoost that should result in several FDRS module updates showing up. I just want to be sure before I drop another $50.

I'm occasionally getting a weird on/off harsh vibration in 8-10 at light throttle when driving at highway speeds. There's a TSB about that. Previous to my BC updates, it never occurred.

Ah, gotcha. I don't have an active FDRS license to check. What is weird is that PTS shows your truck being on Sync 22177 still. It should be on 22293/22294.

I'll have to check when I get home. I drove my old 2003 Crown Vic to work today. I do know with a recent update it gained full screen Apple CarPlay.

Then your truck just hasn't synced up with Ford's servers then.

3.5.3.2 was sent to you on 1/30 and it failed the same day. Reason for failure is:

Seems to have four included files and they all seem to apply to in-car voice recognition (Nuance). Two are software images and two are XML files with descriptors. The SSL certificate seems to be invalid (though that may be on purpose) and the intermediate cert chain is incomplete (again, might be intentional).

I just got an update last night (22177_PRODUCT Revision 473) and was told, for the first time, to pay attention to the road. At least updates are flowing somewhat!

looks like you were sent 3.5.3 a month ago but its stalled out. it should reattempt at some point. your truck reports B162F dtc almost daily. maybe check the configuration on the bcm as it may be reporting an incomplete/incorrect configuration

Thanks. I just picked it up from the dealership for a service so it will be a while until I get back in, but ill be on the lookout for an update

Interesting. I wonder if that's a link to the software update files on the Ford mothership? Goes way beyond my scope of knowledge, but I know there is a way to get the files for this particular update onto a USB drive to self install.

Anyway, yes I've seen a flurry of old and new updates going out lately. Definitely a good sign.
