I can't tell if your truck is stuck not getting updates or not. The last OTA attempt recorded on your truck was in January of 2022, but in your truck's history, it also shows a dealer replaced the APIM that same day which is a bit strange. It shows they were able to program the new module successfully. Usually when PTS does not show a Sync version in it is when a truck is sent an APIM OTA and it fails to install so it erases the Sync version from PTS entirely. I find it to be too much of a coincidence that the same day they truck got a new APIM, it was sent an OTA which failed to install and possibly locked it.Bought my 21 back in October. Haven't see any sort of updates. Don't see any history of any updates. Just says up to date.
VIN is 1FTFW1E57MFA77177
That's because Ford does not pay them to update modules and the process takes hours. Your last recorded OTA was October of last year. Based on your current Sync version, your truck is fine, you just haven't gotten any love from Ford lately with OTA's.would anyone mind running my VIN. Having a real hard time with the dealer getting my truck updated...TIA

Dealer said their only tech was in training this week. They will check with him Friday when he returns to work to get his opinion of where my truck is in the process. Not unreasonable to me.Let me know what transpires. Everything I've learned I've learned by helping people and following these issues and how people resolve them, so I am curious to see how your case plays out.
I haven't seen that one pushed out in a while. According to the power up wiki:Dealer said their only tech was in training this week. They will check with him Friday when he returns to work to get his opinion of where my truck is in the process. Not unreasonable to me.
In the meanwhile, I got an OTA today after I left the dealership.
"Priority Update 22-PU0727-VI-FXA Minor updates here and there." I guess something related to OTA is actually working. I'll see what the tech says at the end of this week... or next.
Definitely old—August 2022. Two-part update to the gateway module. Didn’t see anything specifically mentioned about horns and lights but it wouldn’t surprise me.I haven't seen that one pushed out in a while. According to the power up wiki:
- Added horn and lights feature in FordPass without Bluetooth connection
I can't find much information on it. I know a few people reported getting back in September and I haven't heard anything about it since then.
That's why I said according to the wiki. I have been updating it little by little for accuracy, but there is still a lot of work to be done on it.Definitely old—August 2022. A thankless job. I think horn and lights was added (for the F-150) by Power Up 2.1.1. https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2022/MC-10207095-0001.pdfThat's why I said according to the wiki. I have been updating it little by little for accuracy, but there is still a lot of work to be done on it.

When you go into your trouchscreen settings, what Sync version does your truck say it is on?

Hmm, I'll bring it up for my next service appointment. Thanks for your help.Your definitely not up to date, but you're past the hump where these trucks get stuck. You're truck is pretty far behind and Ford rarely pushes out those older updates.
I'm not sure what the issue is, but it's not your dealer's failure to perform the recall. Your trailer brake module (TRM) software is current and correct. Can someone re-check 1FTFW1E8XMKE08562 for me? I had a dealership allegedly get me up to speed, but I'm having the worst issue where I have no trailer brakes at all... And I live in a travel trailer. ? I'm wondering if it's connected to recall 22S17. My truck fits the bill for that recall, but it's not showing up on Ford's recall checker tool... Any possibility someone could've screwed up while applying the recall update and it didn't actually take?
Any way to see what software version my trailer brake module is? This NHTSA bulletin says "The affected vehicles have software part number MU5T-19J297-DG or prior suffix version."
