The only way to get full screen CarPlay is with a mongoose tool and an FDRS license. Ford is not sending out that update at this time.

I, for one, think this is a GREAT idea.

When you ask for a VIN check, please specify if you are looking for OTA updates, or if you need to see what specific modules have updates pending on FDRS.

That is normal. Ford is not pushing any other major OTA's past that one at this time. You did get a bluecruise map update sent to you on 12/13, though.

Can anyone confirm recall 22S17/22v193 (REPROGRAM INTEGRATED TRAILER RELAY MODULE) was performed today?

Where am I on OTA updates? Last known was 2.6.0 in late July.

Hey all, I posted this a couple days ago but it may of got lost as I didn’t see a response. I was wondering if someone could help me with the below. I believe it would be the OTA information looked up, but not super familiar if/when it ties to FDRS. Any input would be appreciated.

Any chance someone can look mine up. 2021 I just bought used. When I go into sync it doesn’t give me the number like everyone else seems to have, it says version 22177_PRODUCT Revision 473 so I am not sure how that relates to everyone else’s version numbers they give (or maybe I am looking at the wrong spot). Really wondering if cameras in motion may be in my near future or if I need to get a computer to do forscan. Can anyone also tell me if I use forscan does that disable OTA updates, if not if a new update comes through do I need to go back in to change the features in had previously updated. Thant can help me decide if I can just borrow someone’s computer. Thanks a bunch in advanced!

phreow, going to have to figure out how to get these downloaded.
From what I’m reading dealers are pretty useless at updating, will have to see if I can find someone with FDRS in my area that’s willing to help

Thank you. I'm surprised I got a map update without getting any info about it. Also, I received a message months ago to alert me that I was about to get the Alexa update, but that was it.

Others can weigh in, but the majority of them can only be done via laptop. I have looked at them as quality of life improvements, but not needed for the daily operation of the truck. A few of them could be tied to TSB’s, where you could get the dealer to apply them, but there has been limited success.
