Can I please ask for help to lookup my VIN to see what is happening with updates? VIN is 1FTFW1ED0MFB57671 .

This is for a job 1 2021 Powerboost that was stuck on ancient 1.7.1 APIM for ~ 1 year (updates disabled etc.). I got help from this forum (Rugedraw/Jesse - thank you!) to do a USB recovery - this worked and I started getting regular updates again. Got Powerup 2.1.0, 2.6.0 - was creeping up on the list and was expecting a few more in the list (273 etc) but instead got 2 very recent updates ( 22-PU0727-VI-FXA then I think 22-PU0707-SCH-POPB was the last on Oct 25) - these are Sept 2022 updates (way ahead of where I was). Parking brake on, connected to wifi, updates every day of the week checked etc.. Then nothing for 3 weeks now - tried being patient but there likely is something else blocking updates.

I have not paid much attention to battery volts (although it is highway driven regularly during this time).

Will I see a notification that an update was attempted (but aborted to due low 12V etc?)?

Also the last POPB update was for the APIM - but it skipped many versions (2.8.3 etc.) and I do not have these features (backup camera in motion etc.).

All help appreciated!

I see you got 2.1.0, 2.1.1 and 2.6.0 plus the two you mentioned all this month. Congrats! You got your truck out of OTA limbo hell. Just gotta be patient for the rest. Your battery should be at a high voltage for any update, but 2.8.1 is the one that requires the vehicle to be inhibited and put on a charger while it updates. So are still a few updates away from that one.

I'd like to know where I'm at, no rush at all, and thanks in advance.

You have a 2022....these your truck was built with all the updates some 2021 owners are struggling to get. I see you got 3.5.2 recently, too. Nothing to worry about in your case.

You have a 2022, so most updates you truck was already built with. I see you got 3.5.2 already. You just have to wait for it to get sent to you. Up until now, not a single update that has been sent has required WiFi to download it. Checking for updates does nothing.

I would love to help you out, but I do not have an active FDRS license.

Not even the 3.5.3? I got the 3.5.2 and had notifications that 3.5.3 was in progress of downloading but then disappeared and I really want the full screen CarPlay

The way you worded you original post, it seemed to me like you wanted to see what modules needed updating.

I see 3.5.3 was sent to you on 10/10. It took your truck 2 weeks to download all the files needed for the update. The OTA campaign expired on 10/24. The error message reads as follows:

"errorCode":"The TMC received confirmation that the command was successfully delivered to the device but the device did not provide a response to the command prior to its expiration."

Before you ask, I do not know what that means. lol

Ahh ok. Sorry I’m going to get a 2 day fdrs license to update everything so I can have the full screen CarPlay. I thought it would have modules for update so I can get up to the full screen CarPlay. So is using fdrs for the updates not an option now cause I missed the campaign?

Not at all. The purpose of going the FDRS route is to not have to wait for things to come in via OTA.
