If you're in the Auto collision business there's many more functions and features the mongoose and FDRS can do besides software updates. You could very well use it to recalibrate a function like lane centering or a camera calibration. I'm sure you could find a way to recover your cost. Especially if you're in the business to begin with.
I was literally just looking up the different functions I could use it for to justify the cost sounds like I will be ordering one soonIf you're in the Auto collision business there's many more functions and features the mongoose and FDRS can do besides software updates. Do you have access to FDRS thru your job already?I was literally just looking up the different functions I could use it for to justify the cost sounds like I will be ordering one soon
No I don’t I try to stay away from any safety or module calibration and sublet it to dealer for liability purposesDo you have access to FDRS thru your job already?
If you’re giving serious consideration to integrating a device like this into your business, you might not want to limit yourself to programming/recalibrating just Fords. Think about a programmer that can handle multiple makes, like Opus’s CarDAQ-Plus 3–the Mongoose’s big brother. https://www.amazon.com/CarDAQ-Plus-...fos.4dd97f68-284f-40f5-a6f1-1e5b3de13370&th=1I was literally just looking up the different functions I could use it for to justify the cost sounds like I will be ordering one soon
I can totally understand that from a liability aspect in today's sue happy world. No I don’t I try to stay away from any safety or module calibration and sublet it to dealer for liability purposes

Give me one second just asked him to send it to mesure what is it?
@cglover3177 . I suspect that the IPMA and/or the IPC updates are preventing you from getting additional APIM updates. These are large updates and it might take some persuading to get a dealer to do them for you.
