I hate asking as my first post but I’m a bit annoyed with 2 dealers right now

2022 F-150 Limited
VIN: 1FTFW1ED8NFC17049

Called and had OTA push of the Map update (12.10.2022 expiration) - Push was unsuccessful.

Purchased dealership says “hands tied you just have to wait”
Local dealer said that it has nothing they can push to it to update.

So if this is about just maps expiration.......they didn't say anything about the 10 key cycle thing? There is a TSB (I think it's a TSB but could be a SSM) about doing 10 complete key cycles to force the TCU to check for the map update. They didn't tell you that? In fact if you were to bring the truck to them for this problem...that's what they're supposed to do as the remedy. Link to MME site with info.

Thanks, how do I get FDRS updates? Does that need to be done manually?

Well things like the GWM, APIM, and TCU quite often come as OTAs. But many people either get the dealer tech to do them or buy the gear and a 2-day license and do them themselves.

A quick look at my VIN for updates would be appreciated. 1FTFW1ED6MFB86236. Received 2 OTA updates in the last week and trying to determine is that gets me all updated. Thanks in advance.

You have zero updates showing in FDRS.

You got got 3.5.3 on 1/25 and 3.5.4 yesterday. Sync version 22294. As far as OTA goes, you are up to date.

You were sent 2.7.3 back in early November, but it only downloaded a few of the files needed before it timed out and the OTA expired. You are behind in updates, but you are getting them, which is a good thing.

No OTA's in the past 60 days and none in queue right now

Just purchased a 22 platinum. Blue cruise will not activate even though I’m getting a message that it’s on when on the interstate. Hoping updates will take care of it. Please check in both systems at your convenience

There is a member on the Lightning forum who told me the same thing two days ago. I thought it was some sort of anomaly.

You need to update the gateway before you can get the BlueCruise maps to renew.

I can send you the update IF you want to do it yourself.. The date wont change without the update.

You went form complaining it was expired to it now being good forever?

Not at all. Just issues after the new update like Alexa not working. Valid concern don’t you think?

My sync version in the vehicle is showing 22293 but online ( Update Ford SYNC® & Navigation Maps | Ford Owner Support ) it shows 22294. I am confused as if I have 3.5.3, 3.5.3.2 or 3.5.4. Trying to understand if I should be anticipating an update in the future or not. @rugedraw You looked my VIN up earlier this week and nothing was pending but I am really confused by the versions and how it relates to what I am seeing in the vehicle. I did get a new APIM and the dealer did update the software so I have full screen Apple Car Play and they said they did a TCU update as well. So again now sure if I should or will be getting any updates at this point. The dual phone connectivity would be nice when traveling with two phones in the vehicle. Any insight would be appreciated.

The VIN you posted is coming back as invalid.

You VIN is still showing no OTA activity in the past 60 days. I cannot see any OTA's you may have gotten before that.
