Only an APIM update showing. That should be the one that brings your Sync version up to 23151. Not sure if it gives your truck anything new or not. I am not familiar with the Super Duty updates. I doubt there is anything major for you there.

More importantly, your truck is on Sync 20301 which is old bad software known to break the OTA process. Your truck has not gotten an update in over two year and never will without dealer intervention. They need to manually update your APIM or diagnose it as faulty and replace it with a new one.

Need help again. Dealership has updated the APIM and says everything is updated but can't get the Blue Cruise to work. Truck is still at the dealership. Could someone check my VIN and verify that they have done some updates? VIN is 1FTFW1ED6MFB78296. Thanks

I know you don't know the answer, but have they tried driving the truck to see if it works? From what I can see, they updated every single module that can be updated on the truck to the most current level. I don't have access to FDRS now to see if there are any pending module updates, but it looks to me like all the modules than coincide with BC activation have been updated. After the performed all the module updates, they are trying to run the BC enabling program in FDRS and it keeps failing due to the Sync version being wrong. However, if all the modules are updated, the BC activation program should not be necessary.

Go to your Fordpass app and check connected services. What does it says under Bluecruise?

I would message Jesse with your VIN and ask. From what I can see, you should be good to go, but with his tools and knowledge, he can see things I can't.

I just got Sync 23291 Revision 1049 on my Job 1 2021.

The guy I was talking to in the post you quote has a Super Duty; their updates are a bit different from ours. As far as Sync goes, 23151 is the latest and greatest for them.

Yup. I guess I'm the crash test dummy for this one. It installed fine. The usual long download/long copy process, and then an uneventful USB install.

It showed up a couple hours ago. Checked this morning and it wasn't there. Did the PCM, ABS, door module, and other ones today also. Similar to others, the ABS update didn't clear.

Picked up the truck, dealer said it wasn't working. Turned it on in the menu, and it works. Guess someone just needed to drive it....
I knew it.
