Can you see what is going on with my continual failed 4.3.2 update? It has failed 5 times now but my sync screen says it is already on 4.3.2 for some reason. My VIN is 1FTFW1E13MFB77676. Appreciate it!
I have the same issue as you. The file doesn't download for some reason. I have also tired to install the update by USB and that doesn't work either.

The dreaded Sync version is 20301, and you're on Sync 22146 now, so you are out of OTA purgatory. It is just a matter of time before you start getting updates. However, it is a slow process and it will be a loooooong time before you are up to date. Now that the dealer did the hard part, you are a good candidate to get a Mongoose (or get in line to borrow one of mine) and update the truck yourself.

Ford does not pay dealers for the hours and hours of labor it takes to update modules. Good luck getting your dealer to do it for free. Your truck needs 15 hours straight worth updates to be up to date. Minimum.

So big picture Im making steps in the right direction.... Thank you for the honesty, I'll bite the bullet and buy A mongoose seeing as I have two sync 4 vehicles and might need it again in the future. This is exactly what I needed, thanks for the help Rugedraw!

Spoke to Jesse and mentioned what you told me about the ethernet communication issue with the IPC. He says he had IPC's on his workbench that won't update via USB and the only way is to CAN it in. No DTC's showing or anything. There is no way to test this other than to try to update it and see if it takes. Back when I updated my truck the first time, my truck was stuck trying to update the IPC and it kept failing. I have had every OTA since then come in without failures until now, and coincidentally, this is also an IPC update. Looks like we may have IPC's with faulty ethernet ports and there is no way to diagnose it so the dealer can replace it under warranty. It's looking like mongoose or bust for us and people in this situation.

They weren't lying. I can only see 60 days worth of DTC history in PTS and your DTC history was very clean before whatever happened two days ago.
Well finally got into the dealership today, received a call after about 4 hours from the FORD dealership and they stated nothing was wrong with the vehicle, and they could not find any codes that my battery died, or systems errors. I left them a copy of your codes and the codes that came up in my phone's app and told them all the codes were documented and they needed to review the paperwork I left them. Simply replied that they checked my vehicle and could not find any codes or anything wrong with the vehicle and to come to pick it up. What was even more frustrating was that when I drove it there the warning light for the breaking system was on and the information screen was blank and would not work.

Are you able to check for me?

You have a 2023 that was built less than 3 months ago. Your truck was built with the latest software already.

If you REALLY want to help your customers, then explain to us what "errorCode":"3""ecuId":"1824" means in our OTA dashboards in PTS which is the reason the updates keep failing for us. Otherwise:

Hello everybody!

Can someone please take a look at my Vin and see if there are any updates pending on FDRS?

I haven't hooked up FDRS to my truck in a while since it seems to have gotten out of ota limbo.

Vin is 1FTEW 1EP4MFB 11492

Thank you!

I don't have FDRS, but as far as OTA's go, you're up to 4.3.3 so you'd only be missing 4.3.5 to fully updates as far as OTA's go.

Hello! New member here. I have a 2022 XLT I just picked up a month ago and I’m looking to get the full-screen carplay but I can’t seem to get updates to trigger. Mind looking at my VIN?

Thank you!

Congrats on the new truck and welcome to the OTA fiasco. The good news is, your truck being a 2022 was built will all the older software that 2021 owners had/have difficulty getting. There is no way to trigger an update. Anything you find online or on youtube is a fallacy. The last OTA your truck recorded was in October of last year. Because OTA history in PTS is only recorded for 60 days (sometimes longer for unknown reasons), I cannot see what update that was, but based on that time frame, it was most likely 3.5.2 which means the next OTA you get would give you full-screen capability. All you can do is wait for the OTA gods to shine on you and hope that when the OTA is sent, that it installs. I say that because that particular update has been reported to be problematic to install successfully by many owners.

New to the forum, but have a 2023 Raptor on 4.2.2.2 that has a ton of Sync issues when the auto lights turn on, parking sensors turn on, cameras turn on etc. What happens is the audio will glitch and freeze, the screen may completely lock up, phone call audio may drop, and so on. When the system totally freezes, it’ll reboot after a couple minutes and will say “Raptor Saved”.

With all those issues, it sometimes makes it to where trying to listen to music or use the parking sensors/cameras just isn’t worth it.

Can someone check on VIN 1FTFW1RG2PFA56981

Thanks!
