Ooof. No OTA history in the past 60 days, Job 1 truck still on Sync 20301. Maybe @Jesse-Infotainment can take a look at your truck and confirm, but the preliminary diagnosis says you are stuck.

Yeah, I bought it and connectivity was completely turned off. Turned it on, hooked to home WIFI, turned on automatic updates and a day/time for scheduled. Haven't had anything. Probably going to take it to a dealer soon. Thanks for the info.

I am planning to get a 2 day FDRS password on Saturday and update my truck, I have a couple to do. I am also planning to help a forum member, that is close to me, update his truck on the weekend. I have only updated my truck once since I got the tools needed. I need a little guidance as to what updates we should do first on his truck. He just got unstuck from 1.7.1 a few months ago. Would someone check and see what he has outstanding and what order we should go at the updates.

Im going to let everyone know. If you have a Job 1 2021 F150 (Beginning Build date - July 20, 2021) you are not going to get OTAs Until you are updated. You will have to bite the bullet and manually update. I have been helping people with updates to get them moving but that update seems to be not working as reliably. Especially anyone that has been to the dealer and had them attempt an update repair process. I cant even reliably help with those people anymore. I have seen several people get USB error or it just never kick off. So not sure what the path is forward. IT might be less expensive to buy a new APIM on ebay. Trying to get the dealer replace it is next to impossible.

I also will add there is always an exception But if you have no version in your about sync page you may want to buy an apim. They aren’t too expensive on eBay as of now. I know it sucks ford leaves you in that situation. I don’t know what else to do. you may get an it’s some day if ford finds a fix but the repair process they came up with is about as big a disappointment I’ve seen.

So if you are reading this ford sync team fix the guys that are stuck at 1.7.1 they did t do anything ford did this. They sent an orange that basically bricked an apim.

Looks like you just have the TCU update

And not updating your WACM won't preclude you from receiving OTA's.
