Hey all, I bought a left over ‘22 a few weeks ago and I was wondering if you guys could tell me what updates my truck is behind on. When I did the deal at the dealer I had them bring the vehicle up to date “supposedly” but I don’t have full screen on sync… so that’s annoying.

No OTA history on your truck in the past 60 days and no OTA in your queue at this time. If you don't have full screen capability, you are not up to date. Ford's OTA process is random as to when they send updates and there is nothing you can do to trigger an OTA being sent to you.

you have 2 updates showing in FDRS but one is apim and you are already on 22294 which is latest

You’re not in purgatory. Your Sync version (22177) is too new for you to have a bad APIM.

They do. I have it. I don’t recall which update activated it.

pu 3.5.3 and beyond should have it. 22294 on 2021 22230 on 2022 and 2023

That late? I have 22293/22294 on my ‘21, which is the latest for ‘21s. I’m pretty sure I had full screen CarPlay before then.

Must be because of different pathways. I used FDRS, not OTA, to update my APIM in September, October and December—the last update brought it to 22293/22294. I don’t recall the interim Sync versions but I know I had full screen CarPlay before December so it couldn’t have been 22293 that unlocked it.

I can confirm 22293 with 3.5.3 enabled full screen IOS CarPlay.
