Replacing damaged 12" touchscreen?

Hello everyone

This is my first post as I have researched greatly throughout Google and I have not received a straight up answer I'm looking for.

I have a 2024 f150 with a damaged 12" touchscreen - don't ask how it happened.. lol

All I can find is replacement screens with bezel from Ford parts but also I am finding just touchscreens found on eBay as well..

Has anyone every replaced one themselves and if so, are they plug and play since all I'm doing is replacing the display?

I used a screen off eBay for my truck, fit perfectly and had all the same markings on it that the factory screen had. I think I paid like $150 for the screen. Otherwise, touch screen works perfect and the resolution and image quality is spot on.

A friend got pissed off at his ex-wife, punched his needs to say he had to replace it.
