Repinning C2280a connector

Hey all, anyone have a pic or video for disassembling connector C2280a for adding pins. I’ve seen the video for C2280f but can’t seem to find anything for the other.

The C2280A connector is far easier to pin than the C2280F. It’s easier to reach and the pins are bigger. What are you trying to accomplish? HSW retrofit?

I have the precision retrofits HCM harness on the way for adaptive LEDs. Trying to do a little research before it comes in.

That was going to be my second guess. I’ve done that as well. The connector, as @JScaro showed, is the big grey one towards the bottom of the BCM. Pull the black cover off of the back and slip the red one off of the front and you can pin it. I don’t recall which pin you’re looking for though

Thanks dolsen. That was my one question actually. The red part looks straightforward does the black cover just pull off or is there a tab or something that needs to be released?

There is a tab under the pivoting lever that needs to be released in order to get the black piece off and the red piece is released on the sides of the connector (or front and back depending on how you look at it). Pull the out and slide the red piece down

Does anyone have the part number of the correct pin to order? I ordered a couple but they are both too small. Any help would be appreciated
