I wonder why the Helm manual shows different numbers from the Workshop manual .pdf? Did the wire gauge change depending on options? It doesn't matter to me - I don't have Fuse38 in my BCMC, so I can't use pin 22 regardless.
Run 12ga for pin 20 directly to driver's seat, run 12ga to the passenger seat area and crimp 2 14ga wires (1 ~24" and other to reach driver's seat harness) to run 1 to DSM and 1 to passenger seat power. Make sure the crimps are quality. Use marine heat shrink that has hot glue to seal them.

no, Same pins but like this -- you want the DSM to be able to feed off both circuits, it will naturally balance the load between the 2 runs. The heated seats are what pull the current, about 10 amps each per seat on high. This shares the 20a load between the 2 circuits while also safely providing margin for the seat motors to operate. They don't draw much current unless they're being 'stopped' by something. Each seat's combined heating elements come in at 1.6ohms (per seat), powered entirely by the DSM at the driver's seat.

Also don't forget you have to tap MS1 bus to driver's seat (pass doesn't need it). C212 is the easiest spot to intercept it.

(edit: Remind me tomorrow to verify the shared power strategy of the DSM as I can access its wires. I'll slap a current transformer on it to make sure it's pulling shared power as its internal operations isn't specified and it's an assumption based on the failure that occurred at C265 on a mis-wire)
That makes much more sense. Thanks.

(Also, it's tomorrow - Verify the shared power strategy of the DSM!)

Based on testing results, here's what you want

Double check the pin / fuses by checking that voltage disappears w/ fuse removal. A new pair of plyers with aggressive teeth help to remove them jiggling side to side while pulling. Don't smash the fuse.
