There's quite a bit of recirc options -- I'd bet the PCM is the problem - flip PCM recirc to disabled

I tried that back a few years ago before I hardwired the button. Perhaps with some OTA/FDRS updates it works now, but it certainly didn't before.

Yeah, there's half a dozen recirc config changes possible, but you have to wait it out to see if it does anything or a combo thereof.

That's a whole lot trial and error time to figure it out.

Last summer I had the HVAC TSB done to address the freezing up issue and I noticed over this winter that the system would stay on recirc as long as I kept it on the dash vents no matter how much warmer than outside I set it. If flipped to floor or mix then it would switch to fresh air after a few minutes.

I had previously tried the coding below but it didn't work no matter what vent setting I tried then but now after having the TSB done it seems to be working.
