Received invite for Early Access to BlueCruise update

I've already made up my mind if the OTA isn’t delivered by time the super cruise Denalis hit dealer lots I’m making the switch. I'm A second generation Ford guy, my family hasn’t had a GM since 1966. I have a 21 PB, a 21 Mach-E, and a 65 mustang, but I’m done with Ford. I understand engineering setbacks, but the lack of communication and a lack of desire to take care of early adopters while current deliveries get the features we payed (for the prep package) for is inexcusable.

I'm very close to the same conclusion. The only thing holding me back is that I really like having the Powerboost generator feature on my F-150. I have a hobby farm that having remote power is a nice feature for me to have.

The new interior on the GMC Denali's do look pretty legit, that's for sure. Much better than their most recent brainchild.

yes they are. My neighbor got his new truck in late November of last year with BC enabled and working. I took it for a test spin to try it out, not perfect but pretty cool.

Once the vehicle owners have been informed, there is a possibility that you may be contacted by customers about the program. This notice will help you answer customer questions. Customers of early-launch 2021 F-150 or 2021 Mustang Mach-E with Ford Co-Pilot360™ Active 2.0 Prep Package (includes BlueCruise Prep Kit 43C/50G) will receive: • Ford Power-Up software updates delivered over-the-air (OTA) that include the BlueCruise handsfree driver assist feature starting in the first quarter of 2022. The updates also will include some new features while accelerating the pace of future features and enhancements. The MachE forum is reporting a small BC map update for their BC equipped cars. I would expect a similar update for Job2 F-150s.

The updated map will probably be rolled into one of the BC activation updates for Job1 owners.

Was surprised the OTA's weren't covered in greater detail on the earnings call, but hopefully the OTA team is getting its act together and we won't have to wait much longer!

I want to believe, but after waiting a year now my confidence in Ford is non existent ..
