Checked mine this morning and I still don't have BlueCruise on my connected services page. Oh well, "Coming Soon..."So maybe this is a good sign (grasping at straws) but BlueCruise was gone from the connected services page for me for a while and as late as of the 10th. I checked today and it's back:
I've been told by Ford that the hardware is fine but getting the software to the truck is the issue. Of course I was also told in September to expect it "in the coming weeks" then third quarter 21', then fourth quarter 21', then first quarter 22'. I think the delay being hardware or chip related would make the delay much more comprehensible, but I do believe it is software related. Ford has said they will let people eager to get the software to bring their vehicles to dealers in first quarter 22' so that is encouraging at least, but no one has made it clear when in the first quarter. Also not sure if the Early Access club is still a thing.

That information was provided by Ford Chat support when I recently inquired about the status, and also confirmed by Mike Levine in an article Available or delayed? Ford BlueCruise confusion clarified (pickuptrucktalk.com) . Now, the dates have slipped precipitously so I wouldn't bet the farm on 1Q22 but finger crossed.

I've already made up my mind if the OTA isn’t delivered by time the super cruise Denalis hit dealer lots I’m making the switch. I'm A second generation Ford guy, my family hasn’t had a GM since 1966. I have a 21 PB, a 21 Mach-E, and a 65 mustang, but I’m done with Ford. I understand engineering setbacks, but the lack of communication and a lack of desire to take care of early adopters while current deliveries get the features we payed (for the prep package) for is inexcusable.
Obvious they don't care about early purchasers..
