So if I went to a dealer on April 1st and they claim they performed both the TRM and PCM recall fixes, but both recalls still appear as "Incomplete" on the Ford support/owner website and yesterday started getting the error in video below, what did they f*$k up and how do I unf*$k it now?

This is cold comfort, but people on the Mach-e and this forum got so fed up with the incompetence among the dealer network when it comes to maintaining the software on these vehicles that we took matters into our own hands. You might want to consider doing the same.

Others might change, but yes, a change to Node F188 is the one we’re looking for. Job 1 or Job 2? This is important information.

Interesting, but Node F188 for me immediately prior to the February update was MU5T-19J297-DF. If your truck is a Job 2, I’m wondering if your dealer actually did the update because I vaguely recall a Job 2 truck having this strategy originally. But I don’t remember for sure.

I think Job 2 started production on July 8, 2021.

Then you might want to watch this thread to see how things shake out over the next few weeks. You might have gotten the recall, but your strategy is so close to the original strategy I had when I bought the truck (also Job 1) that I’m skeptical whether you got even the February update. Wish I could be more definitive. You should have a pretty good idea where you stand shortly.

I installed the Scriptable app / etc, my software version on trailer module is ML3T-19J297-BB (not BA) - does that represent the "recall" version?

ps. for anyone who missed a few pages back, the scriptable app is IOS, you start from this page:

(and there's a giant thread elsewhere on this site). software info on the brake module is at the bottom of the widget "Advanced info")

This might be the update then. Mine is Job 1, also had the trailer break module replaced in November with a new part. Had TRM software updated March 15th. Im at ML3T-19J297-BA

Just an update. My recall no longer shows up on Ford Pass or the Ford owners site. I have to assume the dealers input had something to do with this. My software version still remains the same at the February release of ML3T-19J297-BA. Looks like Ford has a big mess on its hands...

Mine still shows the recall available. Dealer will perform the recall this Thursday if it’s available. I’ll have them check it before they pick it up.

Anybody with the update notice any difference in the braking . Mine stood me on my nose the first time i hit the brakes after the update. I am also getting a hard shift between 2 and 3 gear.

Did anyone have an issue withntheir turn signal flasheer flashing real fast when this fault came up active. The lights themselves are operating at normal speed.

The shift update through a reflash should fix this issue. It did for me. I was deleting the shift tables to correct them. now I haven't had to do this.

Yes, fast flash left directional while operating the same as yours.

Yes, fast flash left directional while operating the same as yours.

The recall flash procedure fixes it. Just had it done today as well as had parts put on back order for the windshield wiper motor recall.
