I was checking my undercarriage to see what the recall was all about, I recently purchase My 21 Tremor 2 months ago and I also received the notification about the recall, I checked underneath and of course it’s starting to saw a bit and you can also see aluminum tape where they where trying to tape over it, but I also found out that my exhaust is leaking, has anyone else seen this happen yet?

That really sucks. Do you know if the recall has worked it’s way through the Canadian system yet? The repair procedures that have been posted on this thread previously were for the US and had been through the NHTSA recall process (US feds). IIRC your dealer previously said the repair procedure had not been issued to them yet.We were purchasing our truck on December 23 and just as we were leaving to the dealership they called to say that the truck was on recall and they wouldn’t be able to sell it to us. Here we are January 12th and we haven’t heard anything about when we can purchase the truck. We are in Canada ?? and wondering if there is anyone else up this way that has had a similar experience and if they have any info to share.
I’m having mine done Friday with some other work. I was in 3 weeks ago to have a deal leak looked at and they mentioned they would do it the same time they replace the transfer case rear output shaft seal.We were purchasing our truck on December 23 and just as we were leaving to the dealership they called to say that the truck was on recall and they wouldn’t be able to sell it to us. I really don’t know much yet. Still waiting to hear. Our sales guy said they “canada dealerships” were waiting for info this week. But sounds like some have it already. That really sucks. All depends on the dealers and how quick they put their orders in. I used to be a parts manager at the Mazda dealer for 12 years and when recalls came out that you needed parts ordered you would have to manually order them. And a lot of times if you didn’t ordered them right away they would go on back order pretty quick so who knows. Hope soon for most people.I really don’t know much yet. Still waiting to hear. I'm probably too late for you to cancel your service appointment but for others my advice is don't take your truck to the dealer for anything if it is subject to the recall. Check it yourself to see if your truck has the problem, fix it yourself it the insulation is sagging. Wait to take it to the dealer until they can assure you that they have the parts to do the recall repair.Getting my first oil change tomorrow and also doing the recall. Looked under and dont see any damage thankfully

wow! Thats nuts! I didnt have any damage thankfully, but like you said they dont have the parts in stock so they told me I’ll have to come back to get the full recall. Sounds like Ford is being premature on telling vehicle owners to come in for the recall.I'm probably too late for you to cancel your service appointment but for others my advice is don't take your truck to the dealer for anything if it is subject to the recall. I took my truck in for it's first service and it was subject to the recall and "failed" inspection for 21S56. That was 8 days ago and as of yesterday the "emergency order parts" were still not in and not expected until late next week. That will be 2 weeks in the shop if the parts actually come next week. When they first told me that they had to order parts I asked if I could pick the truck up and come back when they had the parts. Since it's considered a safety issue, once diagnosed they cannot release the truck back for me to use.
