I took the kids for ice cream tonight in my 2025 and I noticed the backseat vents are barely blowing any air. The front vents are working great, blasting air at full speed, but even holding my hand right up to the rear vents, I can hardly feel anything. Here’s what I’ve checked so far:

1. Vents Are Open: I confirmed the rear vents are fully open and used a flashlight to check for any visible blockages and nothing’s obstructing them.

2. Cycled the Settings: I tried switching the climate control settings (like from dash to floor) to see if a stuck actuator might be the issue, but it didn’t help.

It's the same way on my 22. I just compensated by pointing all the dash vents so they blow just just over the shoulders of the front seat occupants towards the rear of the cab.

With the remote start I got in the habit of starting it up a few minutes ahead of when we leave to go anywhere especially in summertime and it's plenty cool enough for everyone and no complaints from my wife or teenage daughters who would happily complain about it in a heartbeat if they were hot back there.

Closing the two side vents helps to get more air to the back. But honestly, the single fan doesn’t do a whole lot of good to get air to the back of the truck.
Using the side vents to get air to the back the better option

I’ve read that this issue is common, but it’s still surprising. Even at full power, it can barely move a napkin.

I’ll mention it to the dealer during my next visit. Fortunately, it’s not a big concern since I rarely have passengers in the back. My kids are all grown and drive their own cars now.
