Looking to add reverse pods (Diode Dynamics) and the instruction page shows that pin 4 is the reverse light.
When I look at the connector diagram (C4484, Rear Lamp Assembly, RH), it shows pin 4 as reverse only if the truck is equipped with smart hitch. There is no other pin for reverse light if the truck is not equipped with a smart hitch according to this diagram:
What am I missing?
