I don't off road and try to stay off gravel roads. I think for now, I will try and fix this one. See how long it lasts. I am thinking metal strap, nuts, bolts and fender washers.

Thanks all for the ideas.
There have been a few that have patched up the diapers.

My 24 didn’t come with the diaper.

I installed the raptor splash pan. If you need all the hardware, you’re looking at about 200

If you had the diaper, then the hardware is in place already. You can order the cover delivered to your dealer for about 135 bucks.
Will see what it is in CDN funds....thanks

I just epoxyed the corners that ripped back on. Think about getting a small fiberglass repair kit and strengthening all mounting points.

That should do it. Be interested to see how either of those hold up to a Canadian winter.

The Raptor skid plate will protect your cats from thieves year round. I cut off the tabs that didn’t have frame holes.

My truck has a 5.0ltr. and was delivered from the factory without the diaper. Initially, I had figured it might have been forgotten during assembly, or intentionally left off do to shortages in early 2021. Later on I had the parts department at my dealership check and it's not listed as a part for my vin. I've since seen many other 21, 22, and 23 5.0 trucks and none of them have the diaper. Maybe it's an airflow thing with the 5.0's I'm not sure. Are they trying to move heat away from the y pipe to keep the (plastic) transmission pan cool? I would guess you could just leave it off and you'd never have a problem.

I want it on to take a hit from a small stone or road debris instead of the plastic transmission pan.
