Truck has 700+ miles on it. Went to run some errands this morning and noticed every time I turned, left or right , the corresponding rear tire would (what I call) Chatter and squeak on the pavement.
Felt like parking brake was engaged.
Drive dial was lit up in 2H.
Stopped by local dealership, not the one I bought truck from, who said it would be at least a week before they could look at it and that it sounded like the rear differential.
I Asked one of the mechanics to check and make sure parking break wasn't engaged, it wasn't.
Told him I've only switched drive modes 2H 4H and 4L once, and all seemed to be good.
He proceeded to go through the 3 modes while in neutral, drove around parking lot and issue disappeared!
Has anyone run into something like this?
Thanks, Dale
