Call BAK customer support directly at 818-365-9000. I had a similar situation. FedEx delivered the cover and it was damaged. A hole clean through the box and the cover itself. I sent them pics and within 24 hours a new one was shipped and a note to dumpster the old one as they didn’t want it back.

My understanding is that RealTruck is the umbrella company. They've bought out all these brands (BAK included) and now we are stuck dealing with their insufficient customer service and accountability.

I'm sorry to hear that this has dragged out the way it has, especially after the package was delivered to the wrong address. I completely understand how frustrating it is to deal with long hold times and delayed follow-ups on such a sensitive matter when you're trying to get answers. That's not how we want to want issues like this handled. If you can shoot me a PM or email me at [email protected], I'll personally dig into this and get to the bottom of things.

Do you actually think FOB point for a product I purchase from you is your dock at the time of shipment?

No, it's not.

Customers don't have to pay extra just to make sure we get what we pay for. It's YOUR responsibility to get the product to us. You have a duty to ensure safe delivery of the product we purchased to our address. It's not our fault if your choice of shipper drops the ball, delivers it to the wrong house, damages it, or loses it.

I will NEVER pay this BS and I guarantee you that if something is damaged or lost, all it takes is one phone call or login to the bank web site to dispute the charge and that's all I need to do.

I have purchased four bed covers from them and never had any problems.
I swapped one to a new truck and needed a few parts. I called them and told them what I was doing and that I needed to order a few parts and they sent them out for no charge!
I’m sorry that you are having issues and I hope that they make it right!

Not yet. Work in progress I guess. I've responded to them from their Forum response. Waiting to hear back.

Wondering if anything has been royally ripped off by @Realtruck ?

I placed an order for a Bak Revolver Tonneau cover from @Realtruck, It was shipped via FedEx. FedEx ADMITTEDLY delivered the package to the wrong address and the package has since been missing. I reached out to FedEx where the confirmed the screw up to me. I reached out to @Realtruck and I was told they will need to also file a claim with Fedex and then get back to me. I ultimately get a message from @Realtruck saying that FedEx said it was delivered and provided a photo (Photo not my residence) so therefore it was delivered and they are unable to assist. The email from Realtruck says to reply back to the email with further information. I replied back with the emails and photo evidence that this was 100% Fedex error. I then get no response from Real Truck. I called, waited on their insane hold times and spoke to someone who said "We are at least 10 days behind with our customer service request right now" and asked that I wait for a response. I've waited, still no response. I jut tried calling them again now and the current hold time for Customer service is 5 hours!

It's insane to me that this company has all the evidence needed showing this is an error on FedEx yet I'm the one left $1200..00 in the hole because they're too busy to assist their customers.

I certainly will not be using their services again if they can't make this right. Just trying to help prevent others from the same issues. Especially since they are a forum sponsor and able to market to so many of us so easily here.
I just had the same situation with Dell and UPS. Each saying delivered and with a picture that certainly wasn't my house. I am still awaiting Dell customer service. So, not sure you are being scammed as much as frustrated by a difficulty proving a product was delivered incorrectly. Good luck and wish me luck.

My issue has been resolved.
My Citi Bank card gave me credit for my purchase last week, got a email today from RealTruck that they will refund my money. ??‍♂

We are not alone with our complaints, Trustpilot.com is full of negative customer feedback.

Like I said, they have to. They didn't ensure safe delivery of the product you ordered and paid for. That's thier responsibility. Federal law protects consumers from companies who think they can convince customers that it's the buyer's responsibility when the retailer fails to uphold thier end of the business contract. It's not. Dispute the charge and let the bank deal with them.

The Op had the delivery problem not me.
I was making a generalized statement about the duty of the retailer in a purchase agreement, notably when you buy something online and they fail to provide the product.

Thanks for posting this. I have been looking at some of their products but will look elsewhere. I don't have time to deal with crap like this. As others have said have your bank reverse the charges and move on.
