Wondering if anything has been royally ripped off by @Realtruck ?

I placed an order for a Bak Revolver Tonneau cover from @Realtruck, It was shipped via FedEx. FedEx ADMITTEDLY delivered the package to the wrong address and the package has since been missing. I reached out to FedEx where the confirmed the screw up to me. I reached out to @Realtruck and I was told they will need to also file a claim with Fedex and then get back to me. I ultimately get a message from @Realtruck saying that FedEx said it was delivered and provided a photo (Photo not my residence) so therefore it was delivered and they are unable to assist. The email from Realtruck says to reply back to the email with further information. I replied back with the emails and photo evidence that this was 100% Fedex error. I then get no response from Real Truck. I called, waited on their insane hold times and spoke to someone who said "We are at least 10 days behind with our customer service request right now" and asked that I wait for a response. I've waited, still no response. I jut tried calling them again now and the current hold time for Customer service is 5 hours!

It's insane to me that this company has all the evidence needed showing this is an error on FedEx yet I'm the one left $1200..00 in the hole because they're too busy to assist their customers.

I certainly will not be using their services again if they can't make this right. Just trying to help prevent others from the same issues. Especially since they are a forum sponsor and able to market to so many of us so easily here.

Sorry about your situation, hopefully you can get it resolved.

Called RealTruck to confirm if they can get the BedRug with pro access tailgate,
BedRug Part number BRQ24SCPAK.
A 3 hour wait and at that time no mention of a call back.
So I did the chat instead. When finally a live person came on they confirmed they could order it. Which I did with them sending a secure link.
Immediately my credit card showed the purchase. I was done with the chat and gave them an hour, no confirmation on my order.

I thought this was strange so I called again 2hrs later. 5hr wait this time so I chatted again, they said they were unable to confirm at this time and it would be later that evening before they could respond. No contact or email.

Following day I called at 10am, 4hr wait but this time a call back was offered. I took that option. Still no email text or any that I placed an order besides my CC being charged.

I was pissed now, I never purchased anything online without receiving an immediate confirmation. I called my CC and told them to dispute the charge.

7pm RealTruck CS called back and I told them to cancel, they didn’t even ask why but put me on hold for 5 minutes and came back on to tell me that the shipping department has it and passed me off the them.
Told shipping the same thing and they said sorry it’s on it way but I can send a return label. That person followed through and the next day it came FedEx and I returned it.
I’ll never buy from them again.

Truck Accessories Direct has the BedRug and they were $95 bucks cheaper.

Yes, responsibility is on the shipper, RealTruck.
On them to ensure you received package, undamaged. If they cannot prove it, fault falls back on them.

Glad you were able to get it resolved. I wish I could resolve my issue without being out the $1200. I did however just call my bank to file a dispute with them.

Glad you were able to get it resolved. I wish I could resolve my issue without being out the $1200. I did however just call my bank to file a dispute with them.
Use a credit card. You're never out a dime.

I've ordered from them a few times. Last time was the Bedrug mat and my Retrax Pro MX tonneau cover. Never any issues.

Yep, nothing quite says "Can you hear me now?" like a credit card charge back. Suddenly people are able to work a telephone and keyboard again when money disappears.

I'm sorry to hear that this has dragged out the way it has, especially after the package was delivered to the wrong address. I completely understand how frustrating it is to deal with long hold times and delayed follow-ups on such a sensitive matter when you're trying to get answers. I purchased a Roll'n'Lock cover from them. Was a poor experience and I would not purchase from them again if I can avoid it. Site said it would arrive in a week, took over a month. Zero communication from them after taking the money. I actually got a survey to fill out about how I liked RealTruck and the cover before anything else from them. I gave them a zero and then contacted support to ask what was going on.

Their support is terrible, either by design or because they do not have the staff or information to do their job effectively. No one could tell me when something might ship, or give any update other than we are sorry talk to a different department - tracking, back to support, shipping, etc.

That tells me they are either poorly staffed to properly answer the volume or the staff does not have the systems and information to answer questions and they are as lost as the customers.

Zero stars, would not recommend.

Not just the company in question, but in general, when there are problems ordering and receiving stuff, the part of the process that must work to take your money is almost never broken.

I mentioned above that TAD was $95 bucks cheaper than RT. Well the Pro Access from BedRug doesn’t include a tailgate piece, it would need to be a three piece style. Apparently they chose not to redesign.

Just wonder if that’s the difference in price and RealTruck didn’t know or taking advantage?

Oh I’ve got a full credit reimbursement and RT sent me an email two days later asking why I haven’t used their return label, I told them FedEx has it and I got a receipt.

1st was running boards, package with bolts, nuts and washers were missing. Made a phone call and within a week I had them.

2nd was a Retrax bed cover. It arrived in good shape and on time.

Sometimes shipping problems occur. I know in my business it happens a lot more than I would like. In my case everything was good.

Oh I totally understand shipping issues happen. My issue is that RealTruck has all the evidence that FedEx made the mistake and yet they’ve emailed me saying that they’re doing nothing about it, then refuse to answer any emails and unable to reach them via phone. The understandable shipping issues has turned into a non understandable customer service issues.
