Has anyone had any issues installing the RCI transmission skid plate on an FX4 non PB while keeping the stock FX4 forward skid plate mounted? Looked a few YouTube videos looked like there might be an issue around the front crossmember on some older F150s but RCI claims there won’t be any issues with mine. Didn’t want to pull the trigger on the full set unless it will make mounting process easier. Thanks.

You shouldn't have any issues.

There is a "tab" at the back of the factory skid plate that will integrate with the RCI transmission skid-plate. You have to hammer-out the little steel panel on the RCI skid plate, it's elongated and rectangular, it will be obvious when you see it. This makes installation VERY easy, as it will let you pivot the rear of the skid plate up to it's mounting location. It should be mounted underneath the factory FX4 transfer case skid plate, it won't fit over it.

Right on I see exactly what you’re talking about. Thanks
